Hey all, I sold my raptor and my sons 400ex (trx Alex ex).  Just got tired of loading eveything up and making an entire day out of it when ever we wanted to ride. Plus the trails at Ocala are less and less every time we went down there.   If I had a little bit of property it would be different but living in the middle of suburbea makes local riding impossible.  Soooo, both ATVs are now sold thanks to the cycle trader.

Anyway, I've learned alot here and always look forward to reading y'alls comments and probably still will.

i hear ya... riding is getting really skinny here in florida.  im about fed up with it too.. i wouldnt be suprised if we did the same thing in a couple months.  its just ridiculous.

i hope you stick around the forums though.

Don't blame you. I plan on moving the family out of state next year. Too crowded here and yes the lack of riding does figure in.

same here. Even though the riding up north is illegal atleast its by your house. If my spot gets shut down i'll sell my bikes and then get back into when I move. Stay on the forums man.

Sad to say, but I will be moving out of state only because of the lack of riding land.

sorry to hear that you sold your toys, Had a great time with you and your son at the Dirt Farm. I can agree with you to some degree about having to load up and make a full day of it. Dont be a stranger, stay in touch

SORRY TO HERE THAT :'(, had fun riding with you guys at dirt farm. Thats why I moved to middleburg I love to ride and have to have the room to do so. Keep in touch

Agreed, this state is offering less and less riding and I for one am sick of having to drive at lest an hour and a half to ride. I think I'm trading my ATV for a street bike.

Yep we put our house up for sale 2 weeks ago, moving to Tennessee.  We are buying multiple acres so we can ride on our own land, plus there are a lot of trail systems up there.

i envy you. i wish i had the guts to do that. congrats.....

I agree with everyone. There is no riding in Palm Beach county, But I will not sell mine. I have way too much fun when I do ride. I am also going to move out of FL. Hopefully in the next year or 2.

Hey thanks, yeah we have been talking about it for 2 years.  Finally have the chance to do it.

Sorry to hear that, but I understand.  At some point, you would think that the dealers would start to see that unless they get on board with some funding for riding areas or stopping the restrictions, that they will no longer have customers in FL.

Well I'm not moving anywhere, not able to have a good job with retirement so I am stuck in Florida, just have to make the best of it and hope for the best and have places to ride.

I for one love it in Florida. The weather, the water, the fishing, the nightlife,the sports teams,my relatives,the people, my job etc etc. The hour ride to Croom or the two hour ride to Big Scrub is worth it for me. Riding is fifty percent of the fun for me the other fifty percent is hanging out with family and friends. It's alot cheaper to get a deed in River Ranch or Holapaw than it is to move the family. Am I the only one that likes it here?

I hope everyone moves out of Florida! That way, I won't be bothered while riding illegally. We need to buy more, not less ATVs or they'll never free-up any land for us to ride on.

 

    Yeah must be nice, but when people have jobs that are specialized and not available in other states or cities it is difficult to just chuck it and start over................personally we love it here and see no problems with riding in our state or vacation riding in the Carolinas, Tenn and Ky............

Sorry to see you go man. I cant blame you though. I am wanting to move as soon as I can because there are not enough places to ride and its too darn hot. I hope to move to Tenesee someday. I hope you still keep posting even though you sold your atv.

I am getting tired of all the Hurricanes every single year now.  Yeah we haven't had a direct hit yet here in St. Augustine, but you never know when that might happen.

I'm here for the long haul by choice! ;D  Family moved me out of the state when I was a kid.  I came back and spent every summer.  Took me 30+ years to finally get back home.  I'll never leave, and not selling the quad either.  Sorry to see some of you go, I've enjoyed riding with you.   ;)

Boy I'm glad to see I'm not the only one staying here. For a minute I was feeling all alone, that everyone wanted to leave the state. See you guys on the next group ride ;)

i will never leave. i love this state. i'll just make the best of it. when it gets too bad in ocala i'll buy an enduro, that way ill ride trails and graded roads legally. besides there may be other problems somewhere else.
