Title: quad sat all summer Post by: skizzfry on August 10, 2005, 08:19:22 PM I dont ride in the summer because of the heat. My quad has sat sinse late april. Any suggestions on prepping it before i run it this fall?

Title: Re: quad sat all summer Post by: jwscroll on August 13, 2005, 06:10:03 AM If your gonna store it for that long you need to drain the tank, the carb bowl and the fuel lines really well to avoid gelling. After gasoline sits for awhile it will form into a gel in places you don't want it to, so you either take it out before storing it or put a fuel stabilizer in the tank to keep the fuel fresh.
