Title: Re: quick track mx 8-7 Post by: apkkfx400 on August 08, 2005, 05:48:25 PM raptor350-did you make it out this past weekend and if so, how was it?-thinking about going 8/13 or 8/14-was it very crowded and how was the hare scramble?
Title: Re: quick track mx 8-7 Post by: 53yfz450 on August 08, 2005, 08:34:19 PM yes i made it wasnt crowded at all. i didnt ride the hare scramble just the mx track it was pretty fun really hard packed in some areas. there wasnt really that many big jumps mostly step downs and one double.

So basically the track is boring??? I was thinking about going out there either Sat or Sun? Is it it pretty much the same as Bartow? I may just end up going to Mulberry this w/e. Title: Re: quick track mx 8-7 Post by: apkkfx400 on August 09, 2005, 07:42:45 AM Thanks for the info raptor-about 3 of us are planning to head out on Sunday. Looking for a change of scenery from Hardrock, Ocala, etc.
Did you notice if there were any quads going on the hare scramble trails. I know a couple sections @ Hardrock that are extremely tight which make it extremely slow to go thru-extremely tight and slow=no fun replacing plastics!! Other sections are kinda grown over-but each time we go out we're finding new trails there. Hardrock mx tracks and that rollercoaster are really hard to beat as far as fun goes!! Title: Re: quick track mx 8-7 Post by: 53yfz450 on August 09, 2005, 07:41:23 PM i like mulberry better. i saw a guy going to the hare scramble course but i dont know what they look like.
Title: Re: quick track mx 8-7 Post by: 310R_Dude on August 09, 2005, 08:33:48 PM All three of these tracks(Bartow, Lakeland and Mulberry)
are sorta similar now. Not much for jumps. But I have to ride somewhere. I am only up for the 2 hour plus trek to a track twice a month. I like to ride way more than that. Bartow can be fun, but if the ground is NOT right(too soft) you can't make what jumps they do have. It somehow sucks ALL the horsepower out of your quad. LOL ** 20.00 to non memebers/ 15.00 for members ** Lakeland is alright. I like the speed you can carry and they do have one really nice tabletop in the back. With a few change OR slightly better track grooming it could be twice as fun. ** 20.00 no membership ** Mulberry is prolly the fastest as far as speed goes right now. Again not really any hard jumps. It's fun though. ** 15.00 for non members/ 10.00 for members ** If these prices are wrong I'll "edit" and correct them. Dano out Title: Re: quick track mx 8-7 Post by: Ride1Rob on August 09, 2005, 10:42:35 PM Bartow is only $15 for members ;). Yeah I'm kinda bored w/ these small jumps. Went to Bithlo a couple of weeks ago and LOVED it. If Sand Mountain was open I think I'd go there. Will probably end up hitting Mulberry. Lakelands track is not groomed all that well?
