I thought the law just made it to where you have to have your learners permit for 1 year w/o traffic convictions instead of 6months.

i know i heard that the law was passed! ill call dmv tommorrow and see. sorry Curtis but i feel very strongly about not letting kids drive till there 18 and graduate high school! kids at that age are very encourageable and can easily make bad decisions. i know my son will not drive till he turns 18 and graduates high school! no exceptions! my reasons are simple............i was driving at 16 and so were all my friends, the laws we broke, the near accidents, the accidents we lied about, the speeds at which we drove and not to mention the number of high school drop outs that it causes. it yalls turn now

Thank you very much this made me smile ;D I got the new toby keith cd "Honkytonk University" and some awsome riding gloves and 60 dollars from mom and dad 10 from grama and then 40 from my family and mine's close friends. My sister didnt know what to get me so shes gonna let me choose. Right now im mainly concentrating on saving for a truck. Im gonna put all but about 60 in the bank i think so then ill be close to 300 bucks towards a truck. Part of the money is going to a rear brake caliper for my bike, then 1 or 2 shirts then some to a member of the site ;)

PS: let me know how it goes dreth.

So your tellin me you can join the military when you're 17, go overseas, put your life on the line for your country, but you can't drive?

BS

.... your old enough to die for your country but your not old enough to drive, drink, or vote.    :)
