 Myself I think it is too hot and the weather has not been working well latley so I was thinking about starting another ride like the first weekend of September.

Hardrock or Waldo?     


Let's get some input.  I know dreth will be ready around that time. ;D

Waldo has my vote 8)

i like waldo as well but september the 3rd i will be in the ocala national forest hitting some trails to see if im healed enough to to hit the track again. but i would consider it if you get a big enough response ;)

Well lets just get some sort of idea in September. Im up for waldo again 8)

Im in hope to have my bike by than, or I will have to be an Indian giver and take back my Raptor so I can make it. 8)

Those that have been to Waldo MX-do they have anything other than the peewee and mx tracks?  Anything like Hardrock with the Rollercoaster and multiple mx tracks?  Wet/dry that rollercoaster is hard to beat-more fun when it is dry, more challenging when it's wet!

The next official group ride was supposed to be at Bartow on the 20th of this month but there seems to be a lot saying it isn't worth the trouble...we could change it to Waldo or do something else and still do Waldo in September???

I believe that the reason Bartow has changed for now is they are working on adding some more gates.  I know they are the 2nd race for FTR and they will have a full 40 gates now.  They are also supost to change the track some so it flows a little better.

I'm with Dreth on the date, Sept. 3rd is the Last Race of the Summer Point Series at Dade City.

The FTR MX#2 @ Bartow is the weekend of  9/17-9/18.

I am up for any other weekend in September

Late september sounds great for me. Ive never been on any of the atvflorida group rides. But i do read all the posts and it sounds like its a good time. Count me in!

in waldo florida! its up to the NE of gainsville by about 30min

blah... that is to far for me to travel right now. I was thinking I could do a little riding and make the next atvflorida video. Keep me posted for the next one!

How bout someone video tapes some cool stuf from the ride and sends you the tape. Could that work?

yup that works... footage on MiniDV or Digital 8 tapes would be the best

We also need to get one going at Bostwick creek. I rode there this weekend and what an awesome track...very quad friendly!

it must have been dry! seemed like a nice track but it was to wet :(

Yea it was pretty good. They filled in the doubles and it was groomed pretty well the straights could have used a good blade run across them but all the jump faces were in good shape.

Okay guys so when is this Bartow ride happening (officially)? I will be in town on leave from Friday night the 23rd of september to tuesday the 4th of October and I would like to get a group ride together to meet as many of the members as I can. I'm still a newbie but i'm on here atleast a half dozen times a day. The bartow ride sound perfect for a good size get together especially for me being the new guy so I can introduce myself. Just let me know what's up. I'm down for anything.

How about the weekend of october 1st? Could it be done this weekend so DRETH  could make it? It's just one week later than the original date.

Hey Dreth, I noticed there is already a big eureka dam ride planned for the first of October and I probably wont do that as I can tell it is more for utes but according to Seminole MX they are having a quad only race weekend that weekend and I think I might spend the weekend there and try my hand at a race. Would you want to come out for that or we can go somewhere else where we can get more ride time in. Either way i'll ride with ya on the weekend of the first. Like I said before i'd like to meet as many people from the sight as possible.

17th or the 24th for me.  I would rather it be the 17th.   If not those date I cant make it.   Leaving for Mich on the 29th - Oct10.

right on bro' i'll see you there. I think they are having a quad race weekend that weekend. I only have a 350 warrior but i'm still thinking about entering just for some good competition even if I do finish dead last. I like a little competition every now and then.

Dosnt seem like everyone can get togather at the same time at one place. Looks like im out  for those dates to now. ???   Maybe Later in Oct or Nov for me.
