Title: FINDING STOLEN BIKES
Post by: dirty1 on May 31, 2005, 07:49:44 PM
i put this in stolen atv watch and i want to put it in here in hopes it helps someone get there bike back.............. theres an area here in miami that is located between southwest 107 avenue and us1, and between southwest 168 street and 186 street. Im not trying to be racist but it is a reall bad lower class black neighbor hood with alot of project houses. i my self am a quad owner and i know what these things cost to own and maintain  , and when i cut through this neighborhood during the day i see groups of of guys no more than 16 riding new 450r's, yfz's, banshees, and raptors..... i have talked to cops in the area and they say they dont chase them cause they run and get away, now if some of you are cops out there there has to be a way to get some of these bikes back, for you people missing bike go drive around in a well tinted car and see if you see your bike, these guys are ballsy enuff to ride the bikes without changing them , its like they feel safe in that "hood"................and for you Metro Dade County Cops that come on here, you know the area i speak of,GET UP AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS, or they will just TAKE MORE BIKES and ride them while laughing at us who pay for them......................

Same scenario by the sand pit across from Pro Player Stadium. Thats were i recovered my bike 6 months after it was stolen. It is a common occurence to see banshee's riden on the street for 5 miles or better to get to a ridin' areas. Lot of stolen mopeds too.
I would not ride anywhere near these neighbor HOODS .

if you ride in that sandpit next to proplayer then your dumb enough to get the bike stolen. there is countless stories of people sticking a gun to your head and taking your bike.

I never rode there , thats where my buddy who sold me the bike seen it and called me . I drove out there and sure enough it was my bike . I paid a kid on an 80cc dirt bike to get me out there .
With a copy of my police report and bill of sale i confronted the rider . Afetr i confirmed the VIN  ,the
police was called  and had him arrested, true story.

There also the incident where a female coworker of  was jumped out there by the mint strip club and her bike taken.
Our warnings were never taken seriously, lucky only her pride was hurt.

STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE

There is a reason that law enforcement cant/does not chase stolen cars, motorcycles, ATVs etc.  It' called living in a sue-happy society, which in effect has stripped law enforcement of most of its ability to complete their jobs.  If we chase a car, bike, ATV, etc and the sh*tbag driving/riding decides to run (99% chance they will), and gets into a wreck, someone gets sued and/or fired.  Not worth it.  Sad, but very tue.  Thank all the ambulance chasers for that.  There is my .02
