Title: Brake question Post by: dreadhed on July 24, 2005, 09:19:16 PM I got a question for some one that may be able to help me. I have a trx 250 and I can not get the front drums off. How do I get them off. Any help is appericated.

Try tapping with a hammer all around the outside of the drum to get the shoes to retract. If you can get the drum to wiggle, keep wiggling it until its loose enough to remove. Hope this helps.
Kurt Title: Re: Brake question Post by: TRX450R_Racer on July 31, 2005, 08:53:54 PM First you want to loosen up the cable. Unscrew the wing nut that adjusts the brakes all the way out. Then hit them on the side with a rubber mallet or the {wooden} handle of a hammer.
