The Real Okeechobee Mudfest   August 13th & 14th

gates open at 7:00 a.m.

bring anything your heart desires to ride, sorry no 3 wheelers allowed.

you must be 18 years of age or accompanied by an adult.

camping available on Sat. nite at no extra charge you just have to pay for both days at the gate.


No underage drinking tolerated.

We have no RV hook-ups

We are located on HWY 70 about 30 miles west  from the Ft. Pierce turnpike exit.

Admission: $10 per day per person
children 5 and under get in free.

I am counting the days....

I talked to John Sales the owner and operator of Okeechobee Mudfest and he opened up a thread for any questions.  http://www.atvflorida.com/forum/index.php/topic,4929.0.html  Glass bottles are allowed. Like said before no minors with out adults. REAL adults.  There is camping people with generators on one side of the compound and on the other side the rough necks. No Mudding or trail riding after dark. Only camp cruising. (cruising around to other camps checking people out.)  Nudity. Up to the persons discretion.   Gates do close at  7:00 or 8:00 pm depending on traffic. Swamp buggies, full tracks and any other wheeled mud riding vehicle is allowed except 3 wheelers. No fighting or underage drinking will be tolerated or you WILL be kicked out. MS&G has A security guard. This events got deputy’s. This is the one that has been closed for 2 years and now they are back.

is it like one huge mudpit or are there a bunch of differnt pits to hit

I was talkin to John about it today , he suggested the atv's stay out of the pit in front . He said it was bottomless to the point that sometimes they actually have to dig buggies out with a dozer . He also told me they are going to do there best to keep all of the buggies out of the spots that are great for atv's . I will speak with the owner tonight about a couple more atv friendly ideas , I will let ya'll know what she says . Keep your fingers crossed , it could be something very cool .

How do I find it if I am coming from the other direction?  West or east of Okeechobee on SR 70?  I'll probably be coming down from Lorida(98 east of Sebring)

those are a lot of beads. so the gates close around 7 or 8. i was hoping to get there after work on friday. I might have to switch and go in earlier. when is everyone else planning on getting out there.

Well, based on the flyer it opens on Saturday.  But JD said that the next one is open Friday for quads.  If it opens up Friday I'll be there between 11am -2pm.  Anyone else going Friday if we can get in?

They are not going to let anyone in before 4:00 . Night entertainment will be up to us .  :P

JD: you say there not opening up until saturday. then you say there not gonna let anyone in until 4 so does that mean saturday at 4 there letting people in. or saturday 4am. I'm lost

Vendors will be let in at 4:00 pm on the 12th .After the vendors are set up campers and such will be able to come in . There will be absoutely no riding of OHV ' until SAT. the 13th .

JD: It would be nice to have the GPS coordinates for the front gate. The first time I went to L-Cross, I almost drove by it.

I'm from Fort Lauderdale, what is the best way to get there?

mudding mark: i'd say take i95 and get off at fort pierce. go west about 30 miles its gonna be on your right. right now there 2 white mudfest banners hanging on trees. But as you approach his land is very open and you would have plenty of time to see the vehicles on his land and then slow down for the gate.

I KNOW, i think that the grits girls are gonna go on Sunday but i might also go Sat, are yall going then too.

Yeah JG, we will be going on saturday, and I think staying over night.

i'd like to be there friday but saturday seems to be when i'll get there and staying overnight.

Please help. I need to know if the gate is east or west of Berman Road. See attached photo.

I'm almost positive it's east...  zoom out that map a little more and I can tell ya.

1 mile west of Berman Rd. on the North side of 70.  There is a Town Star BP convenience store on the corner of Berman and 70 that will have plenty of ice, soda, cold beer, water and Subway for anyone that needs to stock up or replenish  ;D

Nice plug there Dog!!   ;D  I wasn't sure if that was Berman or not.. Thanks for straightening me out!

Ok, unfortunately we have like 3 posts on here for mudfest which has made it quite confusing to keep track of this event.  I would like to camp Friday night and I know that Purelogic will be up there to post off some area so we can all camp together.  Is there anyone else that will be going Friday night?  We need to get in touch so we are all camping in the ATVFlorida area.  PM me if you are going for sure. 

Is this mudfest the 1 u have to be 18 to get into?????? do u have to have a valid DL to ride or drive a fourwheeler?????? PLZ LET ME KNOW ASAP

Dude this post is a year old , there are a couple of new ones for this year , but to answer your question NO...I have never seen that rule.

Had a great time on sat.  We were charged $15 each for the day?

They raised the price since last year. We got charged $30 for the whole weekend. Had a blast though.

Please keep the cost down though. L-cross started at $7 and is now $30.

Yea well im kinda new here and all, But i live in FL and have a Honda Forman Rubicon 4x4. ANd well i went to mudfest and had a blast, cept for the cost, but i was wondering if any one knew what the date would be for the next one? I know theres was one in feb last year, will it be the same time?

Can somebody give info about this mudfest, directions, dates etc.
