Title: OCALA-rodman-eureka-w-delancy-
Post by: Chris505 on July 14, 2005, 10:41:56 PM
Heading up there on sat, not sure which one,, the last time i was up there at w-delancy
they had the south trail closed and just about everything to the west of delancy is a CLOSED area now or has been,, had to make a big loop to head south,,the ranger even said that the trail used to get to the 88store is in a closure area ??? look at this map,,
(http://www.citicom.com/~cbandl/map.jpg)

lots of little red signs everywhere now...
one trail that i have been using for years had a post with one of those red signs on it,, had to find another route...

Or i might swing over by Idas off that one road where we parked the day before one of the rodamn rides,, is that parking area still open ???????? everything around that area looks open according to the map????
plus i have not rode that area to much,,, looks like you can get to big scrub if you know where to cross sr40.. is there??????? ;D

the trail heading south out of delancy sucked anyway. they did us a favor.  they are tightening the screws every day on the legal trails. i do miss riding to the 88 store. closing that trail hurt.

was up at delancy sat talking to one of rangers and it is being talked about adding a trail to the store with the new trail system,, and he specifed "talked"....

the north trail out of delancey su$ks also whoops and more whoops...
at least the south trail is closer to the good trails i think.. south of 316 and south of 314..
