Title: Re: Shindler 3-2-13 Post by: Ole Nasty on March 03, 2013, 10:50:18 AM Good vid. Was the creek too high to go through? How was snowman's curve?
Title: Re: Shindler 3-2-13 Post by: Crewsing on March 03, 2013, 11:06:20 AM Creek was full. No crossing it. Three of our bikes rolled at snowmans corner. Met a local and he showed us some sweet spots. He said there is a big sloppy area on the other side of creek on powerlines. We had a short ride due to all the mishaps. Had to pull two bikes all the way back to church. The local said the woman that owns that dirt road we ride on is cool and not to park on or spin up the road. And parking at the church is no problem. Can't wait to get back out there.
Title: Re: Shindler 3-2-13 Post by: Ole Nasty on March 03, 2013, 11:48:08 AM Was he on a big Arctic Cat? I've yet explore anywhere on the other side of the creek towards the powerlines, usually 1 or 2 of the bikes on our group can't make it across the creek. Are your bikes all right?
Title: Re: Shindler 3-2-13 Post by: BIGWORM3699 ( ECP RACING) on March 03, 2013, 12:43:32 PM great video looked nice and sloppy. I bet the creeks were real deep especially at snowmans corner , Sorry to hear about the bikes getting swamped out that sucks. Let me know if they need any help getting them running again.
Title: Re: Shindler 3-2-13 Post by: Crewsing on March 03, 2013, 01:04:11 PM There were a couple groups riding around. My buddy old polaris(02) just needs to be sold. The brute that rolled shut off so it was fine, ended up pulling can am home. Can am was upside down with just tips of all tires showing and turning. He was smart and got towed back after seeing water in oil. Other bike was fine too. Three of them had full waders and were cold as hell so it was time to call a day. Sucks cause we were planning on some night riding and conditions were perfect. We still had fun.

Title: Re: Shindler 3-2-13 Post by: Crewsing on March 03, 2013, 02:02:40 PM yes at snow man. I was not there when it happened. I was helping someone fix their bike on another trail.
Title: Re: Shindler 3-2-13 Post by: Ole Nasty on March 03, 2013, 03:19:12 PM If the creek was too deep to cross it kinda limits where and how far you can ride. Man I can't wait to go riding again!
Title: Re: Shindler 3-2-13 Post by: snackpac74 on March 03, 2013, 03:42:13 PM WOW and I though it was kinda wet before.
Title: Re: Shindler 3-2-13 Post by: bottom_out on March 03, 2013, 05:49:57 PM That is WET, you guys picked a horrible day to go swimming! I froze and I stayed dry. Sorry about the bikes, but nice vid.
Title: Re: Shindler 3-2-13 Post by: Crewsing on March 03, 2013, 05:57:24 PM It was nice out as long as you stayed dry. Now the guys that went neck deep might have been a little cold. Good thing about shindler is the woods are so thick there was no wind and the sun was out.
