Title: My new LT-R450
Post by: Cpearl on April 30, 2012, 03:40:16 PM
So I thought I posted about it... I guess maybe the internet had a hiccup when I was posting or something. So here are some photos of the bike. I have yet to take any of my own. Gonna wash it soon and do that. The bike has a small problem with stalling around low rpm after a quick throttle blip or if I come in hot and let off the throttle and pull in the clutch. Andy thought it might be the bowl/fuel filter. I'll take a look into those to see if I can locate the problem. It has an FI Power Box, pleated K&N with an open airbox and an aftermarket intake as well. Full DASA exhaust, nerf bars and I have a pair of Blingstar pegs that are not currently on the bike.

Pretty decent lookin bike overall. Nice frame that does not appear to have been ridden hard. Couple small cosmetic issues here and there but overall I'm happy with my purchase. So soon I'll be joining some of you out and about. Please let me know what ya think.

 :)

Congrats on your new quad, nice looking. I own one myself and love it, no regrets on that. What type of riding you gonna be doing? I'm into MX and these quads perform great. Have fun, be safe and enjoy it!!!!!

I was talking to the gentleman selling this on craigslist. Just couldn't come to an agreement on price, glad to see you got it and are enjoying it!

I picked it up for a lot less than he wanted and only bumped one time from my original offer. So I played hardball as much as I could without being a d!ck. I told him I had XX number of crisp clean $100 dollar bills ready for the taking and that I was going to have to spend +$500 after I bought it for a helmet/boots/roost deflector/pants/jersey. I just tried to lower him as much as I could and I got it to where I felt comfortable. I'm happy with it for the money.

The frame is pretty clean for the year and doesn't look to have been ridden really hard. I had to replace the swirl filter and part of the bowl under the gas tank which cost me an arm and a leg from Suzuki, but it runs cleaner now.

Riding this weekend I hope! Anyone got a super small trailer for sale?  ;D
