Title: Reopening Trails and Camping
Post by: Dirty Foot Adventures on February 03, 2012, 08:07:46 PM
We want everyone to know that we feel we have the best members ever. As you're aware we have had our trails and campgrounds closed for over 5 months, obviously not by choice. As of next week we will be moving forward with the permitting of those areas. We have been in contact with the Health Department to get the camping back and will be paying the application fees to the county for the trails. In a very short time we will have power brought down the rock road and into the campground. We will also have potable water and sewage. We plan to have 40 RV hookups with 50amp services. Unfortunately the above items can not happen over night. This is a 3-4 month process and will involve some of your help. We really need your continued support of what we currently have here at Dirty Foot. The above process is going to be very close to a $100,000 investment and we can not do it without you. We also need your assistance with letters and or your presence at the public hearing. We do not have the date yet but should know soon. Thank you for your support through these rough times. We can not wait to look beyond the bad times and start enjoying the family fun times. Who's with us on this? Who will be there when we need you the most? LET'S DO THIS!!!

Looking forward to coming back over. Dirty Foot is a great place and with the improvements you are putting in will be second to none.
I know that you have the mx track open but have you had any sand drags?

The drag strip, enduro cross course, mx track and small field is open every weekend.  We had the drag races going for a while but decided to hold off on any more until we get our camping back.

Is there any video of the enduro cross course. Do you plan races on it? Is it designed for utilities. I like obstacles but not a lot of water on a sport bike.

I am sure there are videos out there however I do not have any. I will say that there is very little water to worry about. Yes it is utility quad approved as well as some sport quads and obviously dirt bikes.
