Title: Motosport.com VERY POOR CUSTOMER Service
Post by: zephyr on December 05, 2011, 07:19:33 PM
 :(
I WILL NEVER order from these guys again. Their Customer service is the worst I ever dealt with. I was on the phone with one of their reps while he had to reboot his pc 4 times I asked after the second time to be transfered to a different agent and he said I almost got it and would not trans fer me. It took over 45 mins to get a simple lugnut order placed. When I asked if there was anything like a discount that he could do for me seeing as I've have to be on this call for so long, he said his mgr would not allow it, but offered if you spend 49.99 I will give you free express shipping. I laughed and said that is the same as any other customer.  And you want me to spend more money???? and at this point all he would say is that is all I can offer you at this time.  I explained that I would Never buy another thing from them.
and he was like I don't care.
Pass this on to anyone that you care about. Don't Patronize this business

Zephyr,

I am the Director of Customer Service at MotoSport and embarrassed that we let you down.  This is not the way that we do business and work hard to satisfy each and every customer.  We clearly didn't do this in your case, and I would like a chance to make this right.  I will be contact you to rectify this situation so that your faith in MotoSport can be restored.  I believe that this is an isolated situation and appreciate the opportunity to correct it.

Best,

Stephanie Sanford

I am not surprised. A few years ago I ordered an AC bumper for my daughters quad. I ordered it in November as a Christmas present. The pic showed the mud screen but when it finally arrived after 4 weeks I opened the box, luckily, to find it was just the open tube bumper. I called and they said nothing they could do. The guy said he would refund the purchase price but not pay me for return shipping. I went to metal superstore and bought one sq ft of aluminum plate and made a mud screen exactly like the one picture and a friend who welds aluminum put it in the bumper for me. I had no choice as Christmas was only a few days away at this time.  Since that time I have literally spent THOUSANDS of dollars on ATV parts, protective gear..etc. but it all came from Rocky Mountain or Dennis Kirk. I have spent at least $500 for this Christmas in gear, and due to that experience I never even looked in their direction. Sorry Motorsport but first impressions are worth a lot.
Good luck zephyr it sounds like they will make it right but you shouldn't have had to resort to this for resolution.

I've always had a good experience with motosport. They once shipped me the wrong skid but it happened to fit one of my other ATVs and they told me to keep it and refunded it. I later ordered the right skid and it came pretty quick. They were also pretty courteous whenever I asked questions about products and shipping.

I once had them ship me a set of wheels, one wheel was for a Yamaha (the bike I ordered for) and the other was for a Honda. I had to send them back 2 times and they made me pay for return shipping each time. I even called them the second time to have them take a caliper out to measure before they shipped it to me. Over night shipping wasnt an option on their end, so I ended up missing some races because of this. I'll still use them because the prices are hard to beat.
