I've had my Rhino for nearly three years now and, luckily, have only been stuck four times.  I say luckily because anybody who owns one knows how heavy they are and what back-breaking work it can be to get them un-stuck.  Every time has been due to getting high centered on obstacles my Outlander easily cleared (even my daughter's Prairie 400 gets over them).  So, I'm considering a lift and bigger wheels and/or a winch.  Any suggestions?

dont get anything over 3''lift or u have axles problems

I was at the Ranch this past weekend and saw one.  That thing was badazzz!  The other critter we saw that was waayyy cool was the Polaris Rzr 4.  I could definitely see myself with one of those except for having to buy a longer trailer.   ;)  I got stuck out there twice this weekend; once on our way to what we call Hidden Lake (really just a small pond but a nice shady spot to stop and pull down a cold one when heading out into the ATV area) when I got stuck on a stump I didn't see under water and the second time got high centered on a buggy trail hole that was like quick sand.  I'm getting too old to wrestle Rhinos.   :'(

Every time I look at them I think, "for $15k, I can put together a killer Jeep that will just run circles around a UTV". But, that's just me. They do look like fun.

Believe me; I'm with you on that one.   ;)  I have a beautiful 1969 Landcruiser I'd much rather put fifteen grand into.  It would hold it's value a whole lot better.  Of course, I'd never take the 'Cruiser in the mud any more than I do now.  I took it to the Ranch last Christmas and it did very well but since I have sand tires on it, it got a little dicey when I did hit some mud.  I'll be at the Ranch again this Christmas and might take it back.  Depends on how many people go with us.

Ditto, my oldest son has a 2006 Jeep Rubicon, lifted, Mickey's, after-market bumpers, and the whole nine yards for the same money. Several months ago, we'd used it with a snatch block to pull one of those new 4-door Jeep Wranglers out 40ft after it bottomed-out deep @ Bear Island. Try doing that with a UTV. Heck, a UTV can't even pull my 94 Samurai out of the mud(but, the new UTVs are lighter, have more horses and better suspension than my Sammy).

 As far as UTVs not being able to pull anything, I've got a funny story about that.
  A couple of years ago I pulled into a FTR race and was running a little late, I jumped out of my truck to go get signed up and told my brother to go park the truck.  Well I knew that my 4x4 had been acting up(damn electric shift BS) but my brother didnt and when he headed across a big section of sugar sand it started spinning down and of course wouldn't lock in so he was stuck.   Well, he called me and told me the truck was stuck so after I got signed up I walked through the parking area and found my truck stuck. This was a little embarrasing because there are a LOT of people at these races and my truck is lifted and on bigger tires and shouldn't be stuck that easily.  My biggest fear was for some wise ass in a duramax or Dodge to come over and offer to pull me out.
  It was not my brothers first rodeo so he knew well enough to not bury it to the axle and he stopped as soon as it quite moving. I got in the truck and it would back up a few feet but it wasnt going to make it out in 2wh dr.  So, as much as I would have bet it would never work, as I'm sure others thought when they saw what I was going to try. I unloaded my Rhino and hooked a chain between the Rhino and my truck, I told my brother to get in the truck and as soon as he saw the rhino tires start to turn to ease out the clutch and lets see what happens. That damn Rhino pulled it through the sand into some harder ground and the day was saved. The crazy thing is that it didnt just pull the truck out, the truck(F350 diesel) was pulling my 24ft.enclosed trailer with 2 other quads in it and loaded with tools,parts,generator,etc.
 

i believe it not to long ago i got my bike stuck went with the truck to get bike out i got truck stuck lol. some one helped me with the bike and then i took my truck out with my bike, same thing with me 4x4 wasnt working so got stuck in almost nothing but was nasty mud.
