Title: Pumpkin Run 41st Annual Post by: AMC on September 09, 2011, 06:46:49 PM Hey everybody,.......It's Pumpkin Run time.
See attached PDF file for Event Flyer. The Date will be Oct 28,29-30. $25 per person (on-line preregistration) $35 per person weekend of the event. Gate opens Friday the 28th from 3pm till 10pm for setting up camp and mud pit riding. Trails open at 7am Saturday till the final sweep is complete at 10am Sunday. We will have 2 arrowed trails totaling 20ish miles, with plenty of bail out opportunities on both. The events during the day on Saturday are still being determined, but the water wheelie contest is on and prizes will be awarded for several categories. Poker Run is on also. 1pm to 5pm Saturday $10 a hand first 50 in, best hand takes home $500 Any questions, suggestions?..........bring 'em on. This late summer rain is shaping up for some excellent riding conditions for this years Pumpkin Run. Title: Re: Pumpkin Run 41st Annual Post by: outindeltona on September 18, 2011, 04:45:34 PM i was just going to point ya to the apollo mc club website for more info,but it seems like theres a lack of info about the actual event online. its located in samsula fl off sr415 near the sr44 and sr415 intersection where the new smyrna speedway is.the entrance is usually marked with the ftr arrows pointing it out.the driveway you will be turning into has a sign for a recycling place(cant remember the name). if you've never been,its a great place to ride.tons of trails,lots of cool people,and if it rains within a week of the event-tons of mud.

I95 to 44 west to 415 (1st stop light) south about 2 miles, entrance is to the east. There will be plenty of bright Orange arrows in either direction alerting you to the entrance of the property. Ran the pumpkin run from 1984 thru 2005 that when 3 wheelers were banded so I put my Honda 350 X in the shed and bought a polaris ranger XP Thanks.

Title: Re: Pumpkin Run 41st Annual Post by: AMC on October 19, 2011, 05:33:49 AM Yes.....the property is wet now (which means PLENTY of mud) but it's looking like we dodged a bullet with this current weather system, with the coming of much cooler temps, breezy days and low humidity, the property should dry up nicely.
Registrations are pouring in, so It seems everyone is ready for some Pumpkin Run FUN. We have arrowed out about half the trail last weekend, and this year is going to be AWSOME. We also had one of our club members with a side x side with us the whole time to ensure there will be plenty of room for you guys and gals with the bigger machines. There will be NO trails open until Saturday morning at 7:00am. $25 Online registration will end tonight at midnight. $35 at the gate, and a $5 per vehicle (truck/car) gate fee. The T-shirts this year are pretty cool, two different colors, black or dark blue. There will be NO trail riding Friday night. There will be No trail riding Friday night. (yep.....I said it twice) The 16+ mile south loop will open at 7:00am Saturday.....there is no check in......just start riding. The 8 mile north loop will be reserved for the first 50 people to get in on the Poker Run, 1:00pm to 5:00pm. ($10 a hand 100% payback.....$500 to the best hand) Everyone else will be allowed to ride the north loop starting at dark (8:00pm) Everyone must wear their wristband or be escorted off the property. Obsticale course from noon to 1:00pm.......IF......... you can complete it without going out....prizes will be awarded. Water wheelie contest after Poker Run, 5:00pm till 6:00pm,....prizes will be awarded for several categories. Hot showers and radiator wash stations will be available. Lots of stuff to do.
