The core group of racers that attend our events live in the central to north section of the state which means a 3.5-6.0hr drive to get to Miami, I would have to guess that if you did build a track you would need more types of racing such as go carts and mini sprints to make the facility thrive. Are there any tracks that already exist besides Hendry? We called Hendry and they were not interested due to there overwhelming success with the car guys. Jasper is 3.5hrs from the Tampa area and we love that track but our turnout always suffers due to the long drive. Shawn McNary Expert #72 SDTA Committee Member |
