Title: GRIZZLY WATER IN BELT

I HAND MY 05 GRIZZLY UP TO MY SEAT IN WATER AND MY BELT STARTED TO SLIP . I TOOK THE COVER ONCE JUST TO LOOK  MY QUESTION IS THERE SOMETHING YOU SHOULD OR REGREESE WHEY PUTTING IT BACK ON ? IT NEVER SLIPPED TILL I TOOK THE COVER OFF . ???

yes. you have to re-grease the belt.  ;D

how do you greese the belt ? what kind of greese should i use ?
the gasket seams to be fine ? another thing i thought of is that is there a tourque  you should use when putting the bolts back on or just tightin all the way till tight?

just kidding about the grease. Don't put no grease on the belt.

Your gasket leaked and got the belt wet. once it dried it ran fine right?
Try putting some sealer on the gasket for the belt housing. Does the belt housing have a breather tube? Probably does. Make sure you don't go so deep that the breather hose takes in water. Try to extend the hose up around your handlebars. Good luck.

You probably need to regrease the clutch weights. yamaha has a scecial lube that works best for this. but take the primary apart, and you'll see 8 little O things, you just clean them, and apply a little grease, and you should be good to go.

Also put some sealicone around the edge of the cover when you put it back on.

which one is the primary?the front one or rear one?are the weight the only part or parts that need to be grease
