I know what your talking about with tiny hand’s By the way good Idea with the basket ball. You are the second one I have seen with a Honda that has the Bball in that same spot. I remember reading somewhere in a manual for a caterpillar front loader that instructed the user/owner to refrain from water submersion up until the first service. The heat that is generated from using the equipment help fuses the gasket material to the gasket surface. Just some useless technical information that I thought I would share with ya. Also the “Whirly Bird” tips that you put on the tip of pressure washers that spiral around to clean are seriously detrimental to ANY piece of equipment. You must take very special care and not get it close to the seals and such. The intense pressure has been known to blow seals in. Also check for vent hoses and there routing. Drains should run down (carburetor, fuel drain, air box drain, etc.) Vent hoses should run up (differentials, transmission, engine, etc. )
Title: Re: Stripped Post by: jwscroll on July 04, 2005, 04:08:34 PM I would not recommend using a pressure washer because of that very reason. I'm not sure if I found the point of entry but I didn't have any water after todays ride so thats a good sign.
