Title: Can am dealer Post by: Starbuc71 on October 29, 2010, 09:08:10 PM Has anyone had good luck with service and sales with a Can Am dealer in the Tampa BAy area? It seems Can Am is being very particular with thier dealer on selling so many boats, quads, sea doos, and spyders each month, that many dealers are dropping the can am line. Citrus Cycle in Inverness always treated me good, but they dropped Can AM. I will never walk into another Ride Now powersports because they are TERRIBLE, Barneys in Brandon and ST pete have good and bad reputations but it seems the bad outweighs the good. Sea and shore powersports in Hudson went out of business, Sky powersports in New Port Richey Dropped Can AM and one of the only other dealers is now Powersports of Tampa on Florida ave and I have a little beef with them since my quad has been there over a week and they have not even touched it for service yet. I am going there in the morning to pick it up if it still has not been touched. Any suggestions?

As for Ridenow I could not agree more with you they had one of my units for over a month for a warranty repair, they SUCK. If you can and if its not warranty work get a good service manual and do the work yourself. I have also used R and B cycles in Holiday they are not affiliated with any dealers they are just a general repair place. I have had good luck with my other bikes but none of my Can-Am stuff has been worked on there so check with them to see if they can help you.

Title: Re: Can am dealer Post by: Starbuc71 on October 30, 2010, 10:02:00 PM Tampa Powersports actually made good today and got my warranty work approved. Thank God. As much as I love my renegade, the wifes DS250 and my daughters DS70, I think this will be my last go around with Can-am. It's hard enough to find a dealer these days but trying to get anything resolved with Can AM themseleves, forget it. I can't believe Barney's was selling BOGO on the 450's. That's unheard of. Keep an eye someday and you might see 3 mint conditions can ams for sale on here
