Team Motoplex Freaky Flyers is throwing down the gauntlet, and yes my happy azz is coming out of retirement.

Saturday afternoon of the Halloween event, we challenge Team ECP and TampabayRidingDirty and anyone else who can muster a team to an mx relay race.

Here is the format:

Start at the gate, run designated amount of laps, come to a complete stop, tag your team mate and go.

Teams will be allowed to consist of riders who have raced the series and no jumping down of classes, you can jump up or go sideways ie vet can move to intermediate etc.

Exceptions can be made, to encourage riders who have not yet competed in the series but will be subject to some anti sandbagging rules (to be determined).

This is the provisional race order

Raptor 250 class starts and does one lap
SidexSide/Ute does one lap
Novice rider 1 does one lap
Novice rider 2 does one lap
Intermediate rider 1 does two laps
Intermediate rider 2 does two laps
Vet (35+) rider 1 does two laps
Vet (35+) rider 2 does two laps
Open Rider rider does 2 laps

you really want to challange Team TBRD??? Every time someone does we win. Andy and John as a team. ill see if i can get them to do it.

Cowood can race, but dat b ain't racing novice.

Maybe you can get TRX#9 to run open for you.

also since steve from Modded Motorsports posts on our board also his guy are rep. team TBRD. even though they dont know it .

Wait, it shouldnt go by class, it should go by your team in any order, Its our top five and your top five, dont matter what or who, and other teams can compete too, but class shouldnt matter, and we have cooper that is goin to outrun Pauls lap time, he is on a mini, and you didnt put that as a part of the class so it should be top five from each

We only have like 5 or 6 people and nobody with a rzr, and I am definately not scared of winning

The only team that should be talking about winning is team TBRD, and since I know you are not on that team you don't have anything to worry about

You guys can put together a team, you got Payton on the 250, Snack & Court for novice, you and maybe Andrew for the int, Brown and Ondish for the vet, all you guys is missing is the ute/sxs (note utility quad-don't have to be a sxs) and an open rider.

Not too important really, you will be just battling it out with the TBRD for second and 3rd.

Can we add a mini to the team, you can probobly get one of the kids from the ice cream route....

Paul, you are messin this up, why would class matter? You must be scared, it sounded great like it was because team ecp only has 5 or 6 people, we dont need class, this is to see what team is best

Why would you race open guys against novices or kids...what does that prove?

OKay first of all Tyler your forgot we have the rzr covered,  well put joey on the grizz against the rzr.  Not sure how it will turn out but hey it's worth a try.  :o

Why is there 2 novice riders, 2 int. riders and 2 vet riders? Does this mean we need a 9 man team?

Correct, although I am thinking of letting the same rider run 2 moto's, but they would have to stop and tag themselves. I know people who would join teams if you are some rider classes short.

There is got to be a county law against tagging yourself in Madison County!!!! ;)

No sir, perhaps in those populated counties you ECP guys are from...but in Madison you can tag yourself all day long.  8)

I Think you should do a complete park relay race. Adult MX, peewee mx, swamp crossing, woods race.

Good idea sir. I had thought of doing one of those before.

Might revisit it early next year.

Bit complicated during a feature weekend.

My plan was mx rider does 5 laps, hands off to xc racer who does 20 miles, passes off to mud guy who goes through the swamp and then hands back to xc rider at a set place, xc rider takes it back to mx dude for a final lap.

Team Motoplex would obviously win this one too, but second place might be interesting.

I'm not sure about the Cat to the Rhino, but Matt has poured heart and soul in the Cat and i heard from my Tampa connection that when it comes back to the plex Holloween that it will outrun Pauls outlaw!!!!!! :-[

I think each team member should have to make a lap on the rzr we will use mine ;D ;D ;D hey paul you like how we all got these great ideas on how you should run your own business ;D ;D ;D

LOL, I don't mind getting more ideas, long as you guys remember I try to do things that I think will benefit/attract the majority, rather than the few. My sole agenda is getting as many people to enjoy their experience of the plex as possible.  ;D

The kids wouldnt be racing agaist adults, they would just race to support our team and be another man, it sounds like more fun if everyone just raced at once in each team, our people have a certain amount of people and we see how fast our team can finish then the other teams do this as well. But I dont own the place so its on you, that just sounds more interesting.

So let me get this straight tyler...you want your whole team on the track at the same time.and time each individual rider?then the next team go ???but that wouldn't be a relay ??? ??? ??? I think it will be each member from each team will race around the track while the other team members wait for their teammate to get around the track and tag the next racer from their team.am I close paul? ;D ;D ;D

That's right Hershall, one member from each team riding the track at the same time.

All nicely split into classes so it's not dangerous, but still fun for everyone. Be a blast cheering on the team members too.

Our team is set too...all positions filled  ;)

Since 08kfx450R came aboard you only know some of the ecp team there are other riders. We will have a fun and competetive.  non sand bagging team. hope other teams are the same.We will have the riders we will need.

Paul this is going to be great. If you decide to have a mini class I can get you a rider, I also have some extra 250 rider if needed for the freaky flyers its all about fun. hope more teams join.  shoot lets add a dirt bike lets go for broke.

Might have to borrow a mini, but I have one in mind to check with first.

What exactly is this and can dirtbikes join if so how many team members do u need?

Same classes as the quads, technically you need 9 in your team...but some of you can double up int and vet etc. I have a mini (Mike) who would race with you.

Between you, Austin, Storm Trooper, you have the base of a team.

Mike Bard and the Walsh guys are on my Freaky Flyer team, but I think you can get a few more riders.

Storm Trooper even has a ute too.

Zach, I got 2 more dirt bike riders for your team, Sodell & Bodell are coming, both ride good...one would be vet...not sure where Bodell would fit in, he rides an 85 but he is pretty fast.

Sounds like we may have too many riders, can we split and have multiple ECP teams, seems we have a larger following than WE EVEN KNEW!!!!!! KFX08 knows how it is when your cool in school, all want to hang out with you..... Please let us know ASAP

It is going to be judged solely on which team takes the checkered first, no times...although you are welcome to borrow my stoppie and time whoever you like.

Hey Paul that is only if the ice cream van makes it over the 6 and O in one piece. ;)

The ice cream truck has been around the track more times than anything else other than the tractor.

Anybody need a last round draft pick? Ready willing and able, will be there all weekend with family. Wife will not race but Christopher will.

It feels like it has been forever. I don't know what team. Chad you are saying if I try to jack up my shoulder again I am in? You know me better than that. I have the worst insurance in the world but it is free, and they keep putting me back together. Yes I will get the finish line this year. By the way the wife says that I am out of the LFG class. Not going to make it to practice at the plex this weekend, have to much to finish up at the house. Will be going to bostwick to get in a few laps saturday morning. Sorry Paul it is 25mins away and you are 2 hours. If anybody wants to join me just let me know.

I have seen alot of LTR's over the finish line, but no Yamaha's, let me know we will want to take pictures of that.

ALL I am saying is I will get over it one way or another this year. It might be in a plane, but it will happen.
