Title: Ever Ride In A Pickup Bed?
Post by: digginfool on August 11, 2010, 12:34:02 PM
Here's a good reason not to ride in the back of a pickup truck.  Don't watch if you're squeamish!   :o

dumb ass stunt gone wrong. what a coincidence that the camera was zoomed in on the truck from a distance. why would the driver turn hard left and right. dumb ass. i tell you what if i was witness to that and my kid was in the bed, i gaurantee you the driver will not live to see the night. whether by cause of the accident, or my hands crushing his neck........

you cant fix stupid....

The turns were due to oscillations in the suspension from the vehicle being so heavily overloaded and the driver over-correcting.  I suspect that the crew was coming out for a charitable cause (e.g. a church group coming out to rehabilitate a house) and the camera was there to document the event, starting with the arrival of the volunteers.

Is it just another businessman using his tax cuts/breaks to create more jobs or a militia man hauling another load to the INS station?

Ignorance , stupidity, incompetence or just plain necessity .....dont know if its one or all but regardless there's the end result.
Now , what are the odds of the camera operator being on site at the right moment to capture this?

I feel much safer on a motor cycle than in the bed of a pick up.
