to see how many different threads we can get going about a 400ex will spank any quad out there, i think this make 4 or 5 .... i kinda lost track :dunno.gif :dunno.gif

If i can remember right the last time I was at a ATVA national race i don't recall seeing any 400ex's in any of the 450 classes, if there so much faster why isn't it that no one will run one. Maybe this is why honda is struggling this year, they should be on the 400ex. :N Damn I'm going to keep this secret to myself and show up at the next national race with a 400ex punched out to a 440 and smoke everyone..... rolback1

Oh come on. You big dummies. Everyone knows that those 400's are super bad and can dominate any 450 in a straight line. I mean, like Chillin said, "why did they ever make 450s?"

And you can call out the guys with the 400's all the time and all you want. They're such badazzes that your silly offers to post any amount of $$ they want to race at any time will never be seen by them. Your stupid posts won't get past their solid veil of awesomeness.

Just because someone makes a statement about a bike and you disagree, it's no reason to bash said bike. I own a 440 and i'll take it over a 450 any day! My son smoked a majority of 450s he ran against in the SSQSA and FTR hare scrambles on a stock 400. I understand you were offended by an anti 450 post, still no reason to bash.

there is a big difference between racing a 400ex in hare scrambles against bigger quads as opposed to a flat out 1/8 mile drag race, as a matter of fact i have been beaten by 400ex's in hs.... but if you read these goons post and their lack of drag racing knowledge, it is comical, but i dont think your son is talking crap about how his 400 ex will eat any 450 out there, and also i was not offended by any 450 post, actually my quad is a 432cc stock quad,

I hear ya. I just had to stick up for my 440. And no neither of my sons or myself would ever talk bs unless provoked. Then we let the trophies speak for us. You've had that Cannondale a long time now have'nt you? I think I remember that bike from when I raced dirt bikes in FTR.

i bought it in 01..... there have been a couple of motor rebuilds, over the years, due to explosion,and there are all kinds of things that can be done to them to make them ALOT badded than they are already....mine is still all stock, no 450 kit, no aftermarket cams no head work, everything is all stock, the even the fmf pipe is a factory pipe
