A few new announcements have been added to the website.

*****Dirty Foot Mud Ranch is now pleased to announce, after many request, the Club Membership will now include Dirt Bikes! However we would like to strongly advise that we are offering trail riding and at this point do not have a motocross track available.  We hope that this helps families that have dirt bikes make us a regular destination for their outdoor entertainment.

*****Family Plan – $125.00 per month for families. This includes dues for 1 or 2 parents and up to 5 children for the entire month. Immediate family members only please.

*****Group Discount – Groups of 10 or more can qualify for a group rate discount of 20% off our regular monthly membership. Group discount requires a contact person who notifies Dirty Foot Riders club via e-mail, (minimum of 24 hours in advance of attendance date) of the group name, member names and e-mail addresses of group members attending. This information will be at riding club membership booth and members will need to notify staff of the group name they are with. To receive this group discount, the entire group’s dues must be paid at one time. Example: All members of the group can travel and enter the facility together or the first member to arrive can pay dues for all group members attending and remaining group members will only need to submit their signed liability wavers and show photo ID. Please note after memberships are paid, individual group members can come any open weekend during the month paid, with or without other group members. Call your friends; get a group together and save 20% off regular prices.

Good luck thats pricey.    125X12 months=$1500   With is economy very few people have those kinds of beans to shell out.     Croom 60 per unit X 4 = $240 and you can ride almost every day of the year. 

What about a day or weekender pass, something like the Florida MotoPlex.

I would be more than willing to pay these fees if it were open 7days a weeks, thats whats nice about croom and ocala is you can shoot out there on a weekday and miss the huge crowds on the weekends, and trully I still dont think its that bad considering what you pay for Redneck yacht club for one weekend. I dont see why people are thinking its so bad?? am I missing something?

I talked to the owners.  I think the pricing is fair and plan to partake.  I like that the place is not being run like this or that other mud ranch.  I would like to be able to go to the different parks to be at a different place.  I think they should follow the plan they have set.  Looking forward to the opening.

I believe I read they have a bunch of trails too, Im right there with ya man, we have enough of them already! I would love to have an awesome trail system like they have in Tenn, VA, etc... I would even settle for something like Ocala but I just wish it was nice and close to me ;D

Dry trails!!!!   not another mud park that I have to have what looks like a parascope on a submarine  attacthed to a ATV. I guess you have to like that kinda thing. But I compare it to 26 inch rims on a car that had 13 inch rims and the people that think that looks good.

Have you checked with Dirty Foot before you decided that all trails were going to be under water?  Looking at the map on Facebook and the aerials that are available off the county site, lots of the trails will be dry.   Check the FaceBook for Dirty Foot, they have put up maps, and there are plenty of pictures.

Any mention of a trial weekend rate? The monthly seems pretty steep for 3 weekends a month :-\

but the place and crowd seem to be centered around mud riding and we have all seen how well that goes when sport riders show up at the mudhole..... Hope it works, they will have to show as much attention to the sport crowd as the mud crowd if they want everyone to show up. Just my .02

I would definitely be there quick if they were open during the week.  We need more places like this for the sport bikes or trail riders. I'm not into all the mud and Croom is not an option being I'm in a SxS. Ocala is over 6 hours away and has a speed limit, the only other places are the local trial areas that aren't really legal. 

This place is only 2 hours away but I can't justify 3 weekends to go there in one month.  If there was anyway to spread that out over several months or open up during the weekdays it would be perfect for us. 

zman the comment u made sounds to me like jelous ur atv cant go under water.  think u should sell yours and buy a real bike.


rember i can go under water on my atv and still run dry trails at 50mph or faster :-*

Dirty Foot Mud Ranch is a new place to ride ATV's, UTV's and Dirt Bikes in Central Florida! This is a membership club with 1800 acres to ride including 150 acres of camping. We are family oriented and provide a fun safe environment.  We have a mud hole, atv/dirt bike track, remote control track and over 25 miles of wooded trails. In the next few weeks we hope to add an area for the trucks and buggies.  The trucks and buggies will be separated from the atv's for safety except for the camping areas.  The gates open every Friday at 3pm and close on Sunday at 5pm. The weekend membership cost $20 for ages 13 and up, $10 for ages 6-12 and 5 or younger is free.  Membership is simple and easy just bring a photo ID. No extra charge for primitive camping.  We have water (not hookups) throughout the entire 1 1/4 mile of camping area. I will work on getting some pictures of the track.  If you can "like" us on Facebook we just had a member post some pictures of them riding the track over the weekend.  Look through the pictures marked DFMR 6-25-10 Kelly Wilson posted them.  Let me know if this helps otherwise next time I'm out at the ranch I will get you some pictures.  If you live close and can come out on the weekend I can show you around before you decide to pay.                 this  place looks real nice !  lots of potential   it would be sweet if you had a big mx track .  i  ride dirtbikes and  utes  we like mud but not submarine style .   are the trails marked ? one way or ?

We have a dirt track but with all the rain we have had the last 4 days some of the curves are a little sloppy.  We have a mud pit that is submarine style and another that is ground level that is just mud.  Our soil type allows for some really good mud without digging a pit in some areas.  The trails are still for the most part dry.  You can cruise the trails without getting muddy unless you want to.  The trails are two way and they are wide enough that two can pass with ease.  We post that high speeds are not recommended on the trails anyway.  We just put up some more pictures last night on our Facebook page check us out.

This place is too far for me plus I would rather ride at RR.

I bet if you actually could mapquest the 2 locations, you would find that they are nearly the same distance. i bet within 20miles. I grew up in Fort Lauderdale and drove the 95-turnpike-Hwy 60yeehaw Jctn route a million times and also drove the Hwy 27 route up to Hwy 60 in Lake Wales and the 27 route was always quicker. Ft Meade is south of Lake wales and west of 27.
This guy is doing good things out here just like the plex did/does. He dont need haters trying to bring the place down.
You probably like RR better because you can ride all night with no rules and get hammered while doing so with no rules.
I know what I am talking about, my family has owned several deeds at RR since 1982. Its very common to see wasted people driving buggies, quads and UTVs all hours of the day and night at RR. I for one am glad to see another place to ride that caters to everyone and it is clearly not just another "mudhole". I will check it out one day with my family.

Greenmachine, I really appreciate the support and hopefully soon people will understand that we are not just another mudhole.  We will always show respect to our members and provide them with an atmosphere they can relax and enjoy without the worry of some of the things you mentioned in your post.  I hope we can one day earn everybodys membership but I also understand we cant be everything to everybody.  In appreciation of your support I would like to offer you and your family a weekend membership for free!  I think together we can build a group of members who enjoy these types of activites and have a mutual respect for other people and create a place that is an absolute pleasure to attend.  I believe that 5% of the people make 100% of the trouble in society and I believe we can build a fantastic mud ranch on that priciple but we just have to cull through that 5%.  Thats why it is a membership club. I have never heard of DFMR!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am glad greenmachine mentioned this to me.  I live real close to them and will be giving them a try hopefully this weekend and then camping there next weekend!

I did get an opportunity to speak with Collin this morning.  He seems willing to do what ever is necessary to make give us a great place to ride.  He reminds me of Paul at the Motoplex. 

I will post some pictures of the ride after we get back!

I told Collin that I would send him some riders in appreciation for the free weekend he offered me. Due to some sponsorship situations, we could not go last weekend.
Looks like you have a huge group going this weekend, I sure wish it was a non race weekend.
After this weekend we are off until Aug 21. I hope we can get another group ride going like you have this weekend.

I hope you weekend at DFMR was awesome! I wanted to tell you how cool it was to meet you at DFMR Sat. it was nice to talk about flat and TT at Ocala and catch up on the racing scene - I sure miss it... It was real cool of Tammy to invite me along that day (after finding me on the trail riding solo not able to cross a mud hole for fear of getting stuck)  Everybody was so nice and riding with a group made things safer. You're friendly group made my day at DFMR GREAT! Hope to be able to meet up with you again!

Mark...I too enjoyed talking about tt racing....brought back some good memories.  Very nice to meet you.  Wished you could have stayed longer.  We will let you know when our group goes out again.  We are trying for 2 weekends from now..

Oh no. It's solid up front too. That's part of what makes it so capable when it comes to destroying 400's.

I rode here yesterday and had a great time. The trails in the back were very smooth and for the most part not under water...There were some wetlands (not supposed to ride on them) I ran into and also did have to go in some puddles to pass through, but overall I liked it, very nice for cruising without hitting a million whoops like at Croom.

For those that might've saw me, I was on the black/red sport quad (Raptor) and I played on the drag strip a bit too. First time I ever drag raced and it was really fun

You were the one with dual pipes? I was riding a red dual sport around. I'll be back out there next weekend with my quad.

I probably won't be back out there til next month, I have to deal with a few issues on my quad before I head out there again, and probably gonna ride at Ocala and Croom first.

I was there with my 125m. I destroyed everyone I raced on the drag strip. Event he stretched Banshees.

Even the 400's that were there were no match for me.

Them atc 125m's had a special copper piston that gave them double the horsepower, only thing you have to run them on nitromethane.  :o

I see in the website that they mention just one mud pit? Are any of the trails muddy in some areas?

Is anyone planning on goin out here tomorrow, the family and I will be trying it out for the first time... We will be in a silver "Ideal Automotive" truck.

Is there plenty of room to park a 40' 5th wheel toyhauler without having to drg it through mud or sand?

YES Sir there is.  We have 1.25 miles of grass camp grounds!  I bring my 40' in all the time.  Open roads and no branches to worry with.

BTW- You can go to our facebook page and see the pictures of the camp grounds, well some of it lol
