Here are the latest classes and information for the Quad & Dirt Bike Series.

Few key points, we are going to try and run it SX style, with heats, main and a LCQ. Will depend on having at least 10 entries in the class. If we have less than 10 entries in that class....we will run it on the 2 moto format.

We are going to have a BBQ every event...free for racers, just $5.00 for their fans.

There is a good chance that the races on Sept 25th will be televised.  ;)

We are having a free, 3 lap practice prior to the race, for those that don't want to participate in the paid morning practice.

No gate fees for racers and their fans.

We have 3 dirt bike classes and will happily add more as interest picks up.

What is the QUalifications for Novice, and Intermed. Since I dont do MX I think I would be a Novice.

This season will set the benchmark.

It is whatever you feel comfortable with for the first year.

I am racing either novice or vet, so you may be up against me  ;D

I think Bill (Hitman) will race the same class as me. I will wait for the initial race day and try to pad the classes out a little, I like the SX format and would want to try and race in a class that qualified for that.

I am realy going to have to Practice, Bill is getting fast. And you, you ride a pooolaris so you will probably break before finishing the race. ;)

Chris would probably be better off in the intermediate class.  :o

I think anyone that can clear the step up on the back side of the the track is not a Novice. lol   ;D
Think of the Novice class as an intro to racing.

I was kinda thinking that too, lol. We just reworked the first double (today) so it's a bit more makeable for the better riders like Chris and Matt, so now Chris will be able to hit ALL the 4 doubles on the back straightaway, I can hit none, so unless we do a ultra novice, Chris might want to rethink that.

Maybe we can make classes on what we clear IDK??

Is that first double set up as a little Kahuna?

It's still pretty big, but I put in a lot of dirt behind the jump face so it's not so harsh if you just roll it, I also moved the landing back toward the jump a little and made it a bit bigger.

I did work on Big Kahunas, just brought in some more dirt to close the gap to the hop to landing.

Im deffinatly in Novice then I cant clear anything in the back row hell come to think of it I only clear the first small double, I really need to Practice.

He was just kidding on the Novice class, lol, he is actually leaning towards running the 35+ class but, is going to enter the class with the most entries. More entries = More ninji training.  ;) Anyways Chris is way too intimidated by the 525 he is staying away from you Paul.

Ninjie status is hard to come by. Winning the class alone will not make anyone get ninjie status...but truthfully as Chris is already trainee ninjie after his amazing roll the bike over himself...get up AND STILL WIN THE RACE performance in his heat of the TBRD weekend..if he wins his class, we will definitely grant him that honor.

You better believe he is scared of the 525....eh, who isn't.

It has the same motor as Carlini's bike, so I technically, I'm assuming it will make me as fast as him.

Be careful  remember Ninjas don't show up on radar. You will never see him.

There is probably only one person that more scared of the 525 than Chris, and that is you Paul.  ;)

Alright Paul we are heading your way Friday...Bodell says he will race with the big bikes if needed. He just wants to get up that way and ride. Im going to skip out on this one so I can help if needed. He is off the 65 and just got another 85 so he thinks is a bad a**.  ::)

I am gunning for Snackpack....last night hit the step down by the road (wow it's a long way up there  :o) the new tabletop after Talladaga and the double before the step up.

Before you know it you will be hitting the step up paul ;)

I nearly hit it last night, you have so much more speed hitting the double before it, that it is almost harder to brake and roll, than it is to hit it. If I hit everything, then they will kick me out of novice though.  :o

Yeah I wish it was that easy,  But being out here in th gulf and with the pres taking our work away from us >:( I got to get as much work as I can while I can.

Hey,I was thinking about going to race next month about how many quads showed up.I look for results but couldn't find none.I am 32 do u have a +25 or 30. I live about 2hrs away so I don't want to waste time how many in b class and so on. I will prob bring a few others with me.any info would be great .

We had about 15 quads show up last time, all had a great time and said they were coming back..with more people. This was the first time we tried a non outside series style mx race.

Truthfully I have no idea how many are going to start showing up and can't make any promises, but you never know who is going to come, Jeremy Lawson said he was going to make a few, Josh Creamer will DEFINITELY come to a few. All I can tell you is you will have some friendly competitive racing and a good day. Blue Rock have started a new Team, his guys will start coming out, Mike Walsh and his guys have said they are going to start racing most of the rounds (his mechanic is already racing the series) so it could work out well. Early days yet though, it's hard to get quad riders to show up anywhere for anything anymore.  :(

You will have a fun, competitive day, be part of something that with support from guys like you, could grow into a great year round racing series, we will give you a 3 hour practice, a trophy (up to 3rd place) a fun 2 moto race and a BBQ for $25. If that sounds like something you and your friends are interested in...see you soon  ;)

We have a novice, intermediate & open class.

We also have about 400 acres of trails, including miles of one way trails with big bermed corners and small jumps throughout, as well as a couple of other tracks to play on, before/after/between moto's.

Quad fixed, I will see if I can't make it a 3 way tie or just take snakpac out of the picture altogether just for you paul. See you in the morning.

Eckles in the novice class :o  Now that could be trouble.   Paul we need to talk.  Question is how long can he make it or better yet how long with the quad make it?   LOL

Thanks for posting the video Brian. Glad you came up and raced...maybe we will get you out of the woods and onto the track....you did pretty good for your first time racing.

Man the track was a mess....  :o We went to start watering and grooming Friday night, it was a dust bowl, shortly after getting there, we had 20 minutes of rain, but it was a torrential downpour, we had 2-1/2 inches fall, so the track went under....made the best of it Saturday morning..but it was rough and offered very few passing opportunities.

There was some excellent racing though, good food, great friends....IDK if your sitting on the sidelines and have an sport atv parked in your garage, you will not have more fun for twenty five bucks. We have classes for everyone...first time racers to some really fast guys, there is no reason at all to feel intimidated.

A lot of people are watching to see if the series takes off, but truthfully, if your just waiting for us to have a hundred and fifty riders per race before you come out...well we never will, come out support the series and who knows how big this might grow.  ;D

Looks like a great place to go, being dying to go for a long time. Hope the wife & kids (non-riders) could be there with me for the next race.  ;)

I talked to Paul today about  a LFG class. hes thinking of it. He will have oxygen stops along the way.

Yeh I knew that was courtney. I almost went over the bars on two laps because I didnt expect her to slow down for the 6 and 0 jump. You can see my hand come off on one and another lap I almost went over, you dont see the bars anymore in the video.
