Title: Ripxx "Personal Track Analysis"
Post by: LostCause on May 02, 2010, 12:31:45 PM
This is a product that I have been working with the designer for about 4 months.  This thing is so cool and will help you find out where you can pick up speed on the track and have faster lap times and better finishes.  Every little thing to help a racer get faster is a plus.

The coo; thing about this device is you can go back and watch it in 3D animation and see where you can improve.

I will go into detail later but the different colors on the pic that you are looking is different speeds.  There are other screens that you can look at that will tell you your acceleration speeds Distance jumped/ in air for how long.

I am on the way out the door to Dade City right now and will expand when I get home tonight.

Ok here is the break down on the color chart:

Purple is the slowest and red is the fastest.

On CJ lap there is a spot where he reached 55.92 mph.  That was the Red.  Other places on the chart are Orange 50.32 mph, Yellow 44.73 mph, Green 39.42 mph, light Green 33.55 mph, light blue 22.37 mph, dark blue ll.08 mph.

If you study this it can help you realize how you can go faster in different areas to help pick up time.  Example would be a corner.  You may think you are breaking at one point but in reality you are slowing down 50 - 100 ft earlier.  Staying one the gas longer would help you pick up time.  a sec here and there could be the difference at the end of the race.
