Hey, Ive been out to ridding regency since before they even started construction, when there was still trees and some trails. Just be carefull, they are getting really uptight about everything. I found a new place off kernan, right behind and beside kernan middle school. reply me for more info.

If you are talking about where they are doing that construction...we have been out there too. My boy loves it out there, he like riding the hills out there. I am going to be installing my lift kit hopefully friday night so I can go try it out on saturday morning somewhere. Let me know if you want to ride...maybe we can hook up somewhere, its always good to ride with someone that can pull ya out of being stuck! ha ha

As far as the regency area...I was told by the guys at the honda shop that the owner was actually cool about people riding out there now...we have been out there 3-4 times in the past 2 weeks without issues. Actually there has been other wheelers out there too.

D.

You could always drive a little and go to www.hogwallermudbog.com   It is only about an hour from jax.  I live out at julington creek and this is where we usually go.  Its in palatka.  They have about 600 acres of trails for atv's and utv's.

Dixie and Medic

We are heading out to hog waller next weekend as they are having a large event so while we are not riding the trails we can watch the mud trucks in the truck pit.  The great thing about this place is they keep the trucks off the trails and they trucks use the pit.  They also have an atv pit.

Title: Re: Newbie from Jax, Fl.....
Post by: Dixie Normous on January 31, 2010, 12:58:21 PM
Hey Mike, the regency area is pretty cool, the owner of the property came by yesterday while we were all riding ind stated that if we stayed on the northern 225 acres it was fine with him if we rode as much as we wanted to out there. He was pretty cool with everyone riding out there and there was approx. 8-10 people riding out there, a good mixture of atv's and bikes were going at it....there is also a place in palatka that everone is speaking of too. Next weekend a few of us are heading to Ga on Saturday if anyone wants to tag along.
Also, no helmet is required for regency area....not sure about Ga? Cycle gear on beach blvd is a good source for inexpensive helmets if ya need one.

I was out there riding Saturday when the first injury happened. It was pretty nasty. The owner wasn't too happy about it. I heard there was another one later that day but I was gone. There are actually three people that own the property, the one owner that is always out there doesn't have a problem with people riding in the designated areas, however the other two see it as more of a liability issue I think.

A few were neck deep I had to have a little lady grab the handlebars from the side and inch it out(I swam). If yall email me before yall go out there I would love to ride 450rutmaker@gmail.com I dont get on this site very often.

Hey guys is regency still open to ride or did they stop since those people got hurt? I was looking for somewhere to ride also. Does anyone ever go to Bostwick and ride their trails or anything? I am in Fleming Island.
AJ

Post by: pault on July 14, 2010, 03:47:41 PM
The trails at Bostwick are not bad but they not very long. It all depends on what you ride. The sports can go on the trails and track but utilities can only ride on the trails. Hastings or the Motoplex would be your best bet from where you live.

Hope I'm not grave digging a thread here, but I just picked up a leftover 2008 Honda TRX450r this weekend and am looking for somewhere to ride and others to ride with. So if anyone is up for some riding next weekend let me know and I'll try to meet up. (I have some things to do saturday morning, but should be free in the afternoon and free all day Sunday)

I've done some riding and I must say this thing is a complete beast. A lot more power than I anticipated, I love it.

Hey guys, is the Hastings place any good for sport riding? It's less than an hour from me, but I know you guys like mudding and stuff. What about the other places you've been talking about? I'm near Daytona, and have a buddy who lives in Jax, right off Beach Blvd.

Thanks for the info guys.

Medic - I dunno how I missed the Sandbox thread in the past but I'm definitely planning a trip in the near future, looks like a blast on the sports.

Cheif - I ride 5A all the time, not too afraid to get dirty!! Haha. As long as there are fun trails for the sports too, it'd be worth a trip. I'm tired of riding the same places, and lots of my buddies are getting back into the sport... finally.

A few of us sport riders are thinking about either Sandbox or Hard Rock this weekend. Not sure where just yet though. Heard Hard Rock shut down the Rollercoaster to atv's If so that take alot of the fun away from that place for us. Going to start a thread to see if anyone knows if that's true or not..

Ocala
www.hardrockmx.com (http://www.hardrockmx.com)

But that place is out and we won't be going there anytime soon. The best part (rollercoaster) is closed to atv's now.
