Just wanted to get an idea if any Pro-Am riders are planning on participating in this series?
Class Structure? Payback? :) :) :)

my son tyler will be racing 70 stk appearing
alan and tc will be racing
john kuhnsman in c class is running

ill race if there will be a money class ::)

haha just dont see a point of going out there and tearing the bike up for a piece of plastics thats all ;)

i think they are trying to get a money class together.

seems to me everyone wants more places to ride and with the economy like it is and places closing and l think its great they want to step up and try and get a race program going for quads and do it on a quad only night there dates wont be the same as dade or ssqsa. i am sure the program will have a few bumps in it to get worked out but hey it will be fun and I am hoping to see a good turn out

SSQSA is... Not Sunshine Quad Series. Two diffrent things.

I read the title wrong. I suck.

I do plan to run a couple at the Sunshine series though.

how are they classing the mini quads.
The site looks like just by age and not cc's? ???

Thanks you guys for posting, we are going to try and go to practice tomorrow night so I will try and get some more answers about the series.

Im too old to race 2 weekends in a row, but I will try to do it without falling off
the quad.

Yeah, I just saw that too. It has 4-9yr olds racing together, 10+, and then mini quad open.

looks like now they are gonna mirror Dade City which is good.

Maybe i should start practicing soon, seems like theres alot of races coming up.

I think Im out on this one.
It definetely looks like rain.
It will be a last minute decision Im sure.

well count me out i dont want to risjk and inury at sunshine when i got the dade series im giving 110% too i also heard some other guys saying they werent racing it either but hope the turnout is still good. and what is up with sunshine raising prices!

That's dissapointing to hear Jake. Was looking forward to seeing you out there.

T.C. figured what better practice than to race and that's why he'll participate in all the series he can including D.C., SSQSA, Sunshine and the nationals if we can make them. The only deciding factor to skip some I guess would be lack of $.  So far we're just broke but not too awfully...LOL.

As far as the price increase it's the same total amount for the riders...they raised your gate fee by $5 but dropped your ride fee by $5 so it's a wash. As for the spectators they went up $5. One of the employees said something to me about complaints of no electric and shoddy restrooms.  Maybe they'll fix that with the increase...IDK...???

They are really trying over there to accommadate everyone.  Heck last nite at OPEN practice they had an injury and a long lull in practice and went past 10pm and gave every class their full practices and let the big quads go out alone....and there was only 1 left...guess who ?

I Really hope the riders will turn out and show them how much the quads appreciate not being treated like leftovers.  I know every rider can't make every race but the ones they do they ought to tell the track staff how much they appreciate it.

Maybe they HAD to raise the prices to try and afford Jake showing up! Hehehe  :) 

haha guys guys guys i really want to race it but yes im broke and have no money the chances of me getting to win money make me want to go even more. i was almost gonna race then i got no shocks on either bike so im deff. out.lol i might make a few of the other ones

How did round 1 go? Is round 2 still on for Feb. 6, beside of their site, where could I get more info about the series, for example the hours it starts, classes.

There web site says round 1 reschedule on sunday feb 14 and on times I would give them a call.

Somebody's planning on racing this weekend quad race at Sunshine???? It's valentines wkend, so it will be a long drive for me and don't know if that many racers are going to show up. I just want to make my trip worth it. Thanks

T.C. will be there.  They were a little dissappointed with the turn out last weekend.  They were hoping they could provide something that the quad riders would enjoy.  Maybe it will pickup up this weekend.  Remember, the make up race is on Sunday and I believe ladies get in free for Sun. Valentines day....give them a call to make sure.

I did'nt know they had any quad race last wkend. Their site refers to a MAKE UP race for this Sunday. The reason I ask is 'cause it's going to be valentine's day and I'm sure a lot of the racers will spend that day with their Ladies eating some place except at the track. I hope it turns out good though!
