Stock for stock the YFZ will BLOW AWAY your Z400. My neighbor has a Z400. When I got my 450R he had a pipe, filter kit and of course rejetted. My 450R totally stock out of the box smoked him. So I know a stock YFZ will smoke a stock Z400, because a stock YFZ is faster than a stock 450R. The only thing I don't like is they are both air cooled. Here in florida I would try to stick with liquid cooling. That is one of the reasons a Z400 and the new 450s are better. |
