Post by: cornfed89 on November 16, 2009, 02:14:11 AM
the rear brakes are locked up on my brute after setting in the garage for 2 months with the brake on i rode it for about a half hour its still locked up the bike is under warranty but i ride it in water so if i take it in what fluids should i change so they cant blame it on that?

You rode it for a half hour with the rear brakes engaged?? Do you know what you were doing to your belt??

Hate to say it, but the brakes operate like a clutch, and they will be able to tell if it has been submerged in water. But the problem wont be your brakes, as that is an easy fix.

Your belt is probably what is going to be a bit worn out after you trying to ride it.

thanks svtbolt i just replaced the belt with a stronger one but i dont really ''submerge'' it ive had it headlight deep a couple times and imo its been in ''mud'' because this is florida and every trail is ''mud'' half the year but not stuck just to ride thru a hole but i guess ill just take it in worse they can say is they wont cover it
