Title: problem with yamaha 350 warrior Post by: gerhardt on August 14, 2009, 08:17:40 PM working on my son's yamaha 350 warrior, have spark, fuel, compression, clean battery cable. Will fire off then cuts off and then wont start. When trying to start again it has a loud knock during cranking and has spark acts like preignition
Looking for resistance/ohm specs to check the stator and excitor. For the exciter output at the ignition box, 15-120VAC. Single coil resistance is 80-800ohms, same with a two. Not sure what a warrior has, but I'd bet single. These are general specs, they should get you pretty close. Hope these help.
