Title: Mud Tires Post by: Yamaha72 on June 14, 2005, 09:31:44 PM In my opinion Vamps are the best, Outlaws are only good for sloppy mud, Mudzillas are to heavy and cost too much, Mudbugs just stink, and the 589's are only good for the stock bikes... ;) ;)
Title: Re: Mud Tires Post by: johnnygun on June 20, 2005, 11:39:48 PM yamaha72...
serious questions - just sounds like i'm being a smartass. vampires the best...but you did not say why? 589's on "stock bikes" as opposed to what upgrades? Title: Re: Mud Tires Post by: klutchbuster400 on June 21, 2005, 02:16:36 AM are you gonna be puttin these on the warrior, i have dirt devils on my warrior that grip like a b1tch.

Title: Re: Mud Tires Post by: yunt2ride on June 23, 2005, 12:51:58 PM You would be surprised what the mudbugs go through. I have them mine and I'm usually pushing someone when I get stuck. I go any where I want and most of the time in 2WD.
Title: Re: Mud Tires Post by: dodgenfl on June 29, 2005, 08:07:15 PM Mudbuggs are a great pulling tire, they pull great in clay, mud and sand. I couldn't find anything else to go thru. There amazing for the price.

Title: Re: Mud Tires Post by: TRX350_On_The_Rack on July 01, 2005, 10:36:11 AM Mudlights are great in the mud, but self destruct on the hard surfaces. For that reason I'm going with the ITP 589's even though they are heavy.
Title: Re: Mud Tires Post by: mudhawg on July 08, 2005, 06:29:05 PM 589s are very light and awsome grip vamps are good also had both the vams ride real rough to me
Title: Re: Mud Tires Post by: johnnygun on July 09, 2005, 11:00:49 PM everyone has talked me into 27's stead of 26's.
gonna go w/titan 589's for the bead/rim protector. Title: Re: Mud Tires Post by: Bleedsblue on July 11, 2005, 02:59:41 PM I'm going to have to go with 29.5 Outlaws as the best mud tire. The big lugs clean out easily and cruise through the real thick stuff, the side lugs also give some nice added traction in the real bad ruts. I used to run gators and it was a night and day difference. The downside is if you don't know how to drive an ATV with mud tires you will bury them quick. In the thick or soupy mud you just cruise through at low speed and they go through most anything, add too much wheel speed and you bury it.
Just my $.02 Bill Title: Re: Mud Tires Post by: bbf on July 18, 2005, 07:17:12 PM i have outlaws on and they go threw just about everthing
Title: Re: Mud Tires Post by: Southern4x4 on July 20, 2005, 04:04:28 PM Vampires+a 300 fourtrax=A reliable bike plus a heck of a mudder.
Title: Re: Mud Tires Post by: SSRancher on July 22, 2005, 01:07:23 PM I agree with Last Chance, I'm a big fan of the 300 fourtrax.
