Title: Chain Adjustment ???
Post by: buggybannanas on February 11, 2009, 10:35:46 AM
I am stumped, I have the manual and it says to loosen and slide upper wheel down to the chain, thats how to tighten. Unfortunatly its about a mile away now after sitting in my garage for a month. This didn't slip the last time I rode it, Me and a friend rebuilt the engine (top) but didn't mess with any mounts at all. Could the mounting spacers have weekened enough to cause this? Or are my tensioning wheels worn too much?? Any ideas.

It's me again Frank, You helped out on the timing, that works great, I found someone in my area to fix the timming and soak the carborator for me, this thing runs and idles like its new. I can't believe how simple that was. There were two obvious marks on the flywheel, yeah it wasn't eighter of them. Its the Roketa UTV250 sidexside. The last time I drove it the chain didn't slip, and as far as I know we didn't mess with any adjustment for that, nor did we take the motor out.
