Title: Raptor 700 Cooling System Problem Post by: TNTaylor on January 27, 2009, 08:44:47 AM Does anyone have a schematic or any information pertaining to a 2007 Raptor 700 cooling system. The cooling fan isn't coming on. I have checked the fuses, flushed the cooling system and tested the fan. I heard there is a fan relay switch but I need to know where it is located. Any ideas or info would be appreciated.

Be absolutely sure the fuse is good by replacing it anyway. Second, Yamaha's microfiche sucks because although it shows a thermosensor on the electrical microfiche, it doesn't show you where it is on the ATV. You'll have to find it(it's either on the radiator or cylinder head), disconnect the electrical connector from thermosensor and stick a piece of wire across the connector to jump it. If the fan spins, the thermosensor needs to be replaced. If it doesn't spin, the fan is bad.
