Title: Centennial Trail OHV ?? Post by: runfox on January 01, 2009, 05:51:01 PM I have been going back and forth across hwy 40 through the Ocala National Forest and saw the sign " Centennial Trail OHV". IS this a new trail, where does it go? IS this the connecting trail from the north end down to the big scrub in the south? Any one have any Ideas? Grizzly bear??

Title: Re: Centennial Trail OHV ?? Post by: runfox on January 01, 2009, 06:09:40 PM Thanks I saw the signs, but had no idea where it went. I saw the map, has anyone been on this trail, is it worth riding, or just a bunch of the same ol mile after mile? Is this a new trail?
Title: Re: Centennial Trail OHV ?? Post by: mcrumbaker on January 01, 2009, 06:18:39 PM same old trails with some new, very tight for two way traffic, especially four wheelers.
Title: Re: Centennial Trail OHV ?? Post by: Eworm on January 08, 2009, 02:48:12 PM I am sure it is very dangerous as well. In a trail system, TWO WAY TRAFFIC is crazy and stupid IMO.

We are coming up next weekend and am looking for someone new to check out. Is it worth it? Thanks, Dawn Title: Re: Centennial Trail OHV ?? Post by: Mars on June 11, 2009, 10:28:21 PM It's a nice trail. Slow down around blind turns and don't let any kids lead.
There is mile or so on a main road (dirt) with a 15 mph speed limit. Don't get stupid they will be waiting for you at the end. Title: Re: Centennial Trail OHV ?? One of the trailheads is the Big Scrub campground of course you have to pay the camping fee there. Another is about 2 miles east of Big Scrub just off the forest road. The other trailhead I remember was north quite a bit and west of Hwy. 19. It was right next to a lake, but I don't remember the Forest Road #. Title: Re: Centennial Trail OHV ??
