Title: E-Ton 2005 Viper 90R
Post by: IXIswamperIXI on December 17, 2008, 02:02:22 PM
Does anyone know where I could find a service manual for this bike?  My sister-n-law bought this bike for $500 seems to be a nice bike for a 8 year old but I know nothing about "E-Ton"

Thanks
Brad

How much? If I still have it then it's yours.I'll check the file cabinet when I get home.
I bought 2 of them as first quads for my boys, They were 4 and 5 yrs old at the time. The etons are great quads for the money. The boys rode them all over ONF and we never had an issue with either of them. Does the 05 have reverse? The 04's didn't so I think that's the only difference.

Yes the one we have does have reverse.  We paid $500 for it but I have no manual or anything so I am not even sure if it is an 2005 but from what I have read I think it is an 05.  What I am really trying to do is find out how much a part would be for it.  The only thing that seems to be wore out if the frount so called "wheel bearings" where the zirch fittings are on both sides there is a lot of slop there.

I have a 2001 90 ETON for my son. They are great for the money. Here is a link that I use for parts http://www.etonparts.com/. It is hard to find an ETON dealer. Not every place can get the parts. Parts do take sometime. There is a guy in Davie FL that is a dealer (if anything major happens). I see that you are in Naples. About 1.5 hour drive. This site also sells manuals.

if you can't find a manual, i think i have one on my harddrive, except my computer crashed yesterday and the IT department is working on it.  Let me know in a couple days if you can't come up with one and if my computer is fixed, I'll send.

Eton's are great machines

to check the year, look at the VIN number. The 10th digit is the year. 5=2005, 4=2004, etc. Only works on vehicles made after 2000.
