I've done 2 of them. It's been a while, but I tied them into the factory on/off button. It also matters if you have a normally open or a normally closed switch. Title: Re: kfx 400 kill switch Post by: Chevy1500z71 on December 03, 2008, 08:30:25 PM is there anywhere i can install the kill swich other than going to the stator perhaps the ignition or coil? you can use a relay and wire it off of your key or stock kill switch. a relay reverses the way it worksa making a standard kll switch work. standards kill switches kill the bike by closing the circuit, the z400s stock key and kill switch function the opisite, open circuit kills it. using a relay will reverse the way it functions.
