The number of fatalities has risen 50% since 2000. In 1993, 101 people died in crashes involving animals. By 2000, the number was 150, and in 2007 it was 223. He would have been dead for real, not to mention it wouldn't have taken two shots. Limped 10 miles back to town in 1st gear. I couldn't get them to run out in front of me in the CJ, but I couldn't keep them from in front of the cobra. Good 'ol Illinois corn fed deer too.
