Title: T-Mobile G1 Post by: Asphaltdragon on October 26, 2008, 11:00:44 AM It rocks, I got it on wednesday. It's like a mini laptop! I'm posting from it now. Bones, it renders ALL the graphics on this site. Yesterday I had a 3 way call on speaker phone going while surfing the internet & IM'ing at the same time..... the Android software that run this thing is amazing!

Has anyone else got this phone yet? Or even looked at it? It Rocks!!! FYI a new update for the phone is coming out that will allow flash to be played (rendered) on it outside of the mobile YouTube site. The iPhone & Blackberry can't do that. Sky Map, Bar Code Scanner, and Google Maps in Street View mode. The voice recognition feature is pretty nice too. Title: Re: T-Mobile G1 Post by: logandzwon on November 28, 2008, 10:32:29 PM I'm still using my iPhone. From what I've seen and read I don't think the android platform is really mature enough for mainstream use. I do think the platform has a lot of potential though. I'm getting really annoyed with some of things I've been seeing from apple and my iPhone. I am not impressed with blackberry. There newest product is basically an iPhone clone the commercial practically admits that.. If I can't sync iPhone with linux by the time I'm ready for a new phone, and if I could get an android based phone with 32G of storage I will get one them.
