Title: quick eiger question.

are suzuki eigers driven by a real tranny or do they have them belts? the bike is a 2005 to be exact.

Not True mine is a 2006 and there are no belts on it it's what they call a semi-auto no clutch but you still shift with your foot but there definetly is not a belt If you buy a true automatic it will have a belt.

In other words they make an automatic (which uses a belt) and they make a semi-automatic (no belt).  ;)

Kawi 360 is correct. They made both models.  If it is an auto upgrade your clutch spring

um, i mean does it have a tranny like a honda with the gears? if the semi auto ones have those type i may get a eiger. i just dont want belts slippin everywhere. ive seen that happen a few times and its not good.

well, see thats what i want. this eiger just fell in my lap and i could get a good deal on it. i dont think i want a suzuki though. ill stick to the red bikes.

Ive got a 05 Eiger 5 speed.  Almost 1000 miles on it and knock on wood, no problems.
