Title: Re: My NewToy Post by: Muddbuggy on October 04, 2008, 02:57:06 PM I have changed the tires from 38/15 to 40/17 it looks a little more proportioned...I made the deck up rights probly 5 inches or so too tall but by the time I figured that out it was too late. This is my first buggie build and there are alot of things I would do different next time ie. the deck height.
oh yeah.....If I go bigger on the tires my little 1.8L gas sipper might not turn them. The running gear looks like 6lug 1/2 ton Chevy , border line as for running gear . I like Dana 60's as a minimum but I've seen 1/2 ton axles hold up well to 14.9 -24's with a 4 cyl and a light foot.
