Title: 06 450r Carb. slide sticking Post by: Turboderf on September 12, 2008, 12:07:23 AM Checking to see if anyone has had this problem with the carb. slide sticking on 06 450er i took it apart and clean it out but it stills sticks i swarp with a nother bike and sticks in the other bike ... i just guess the slide is wore some and it sticks but looks good ....thanks for your help
Title: Re: 06 450r Carb. slide sticking Post by: Fox17 on September 12, 2008, 02:43:42 AM if there is even a small tiny scratch on the slide it will create like a suction type situation and stick. ive had the same problem with a bike (not a 450R but it was a small dirtbike).

I Repalce the slide assy. Problem fixed ... I guess it was the Honda slide do you think maybe a yamaha 450 slide would work ;) |
