Post by: blupits04 on September 08, 2008, 12:31:20 PM
Hey guys I know alot of you aren't anywhere near Groveland, but I figured what the hell. Some friends of ours lost their house to a fire due to faulty electrical last week and they lost everything, including their 3 Yorkies and a Beagle Puppy(what they consider to be their kids) There's a group of their family and friends who are putting together a mudd bogg to help raise money for them to find another place and replacall of their lost stuff. It's not too far from Richloam for those who know the area, it's in the Baylake side off Calvin Lee Rd. Here's some more info on it.

How about an address to the bank where checks can be mailed.

If this was a new house (even a few years old) I would go after the electricans for that!!!  Being a licenced electrician myself.... there are WAY to many contractors out there hiring any Joe smoe to wire up homes.  As long as this is a Right To Work state this is what will happen.  My condolences to the family that was a BIG loss.

So wait, the guy was told there was a hazzard, and just shrugged it off?
I'm not implying anything, i know I feel for them, but it sounds like he was being pretty negligent.

I just re-read, sorry. I understood it differently. Could the landlord be liable?
