I've seen this one. Good video. However, there is more to the story in all cases. All of these took place in New Orleans after Katrina.

The first woman was an idiot for having the gun in her hand in front of the cops. Granted, they went a little far with her, but she was in the wrong.

The two guys going across the lake is interesting. They admitted to having guns. Therefore, the search was legal and proper. Carry and conceal is strict in Louisiana and there laws are based (still) on common law verses codified laws. As a result, things get a bit haywire when it comes to these things.

The same goes for the female Baptist minister. More to the story.

The fourth guy admitted to having gins in his car. Therefore the search and seizure was legal. However, if in fact the cops smashed the guns, they were in the wrong. Otherwise, everything else they did was allowed.

Finally, the contractor with the two rifles seized did the same thing. He admitted to having the guns on board, so the search and (probably) the seizure were valid. The receipt issue is wrong though. He definitely should have been provided a receipt.

So are you saying??? If asked lie?? Not trying to be a smart azz just wondering....I guess if you said no to them then legally they would have to go and get a warrant since there was / is no reason for search?? I was thinking this the whole time watching the video....

Is there something I missed, because why are they seizing peoples firearms in the first place?
