Title: Pics on Home Page Post by: sk8r_dude on October 11, 2004, 03:26:05 PM The pictures alternating on the home page appear dated. Many of us have posted some killer pics in the recent past(ONF, Bad Luck, Big Cypress, Etc.) but they never make it to the home page. Can the home page pictures be refreshed all the time with the most current submissions of the members?
Title: Re: Pics on Home Page Post by: Da_Mtg_Man on October 11, 2004, 06:39:48 PM I'll double check with MrBoNeS but my understanding is they do refresh and pull from the photo gallery. It's just that there are so many pics that it takes a long time for them to cycle through all of them.
Title: Re: Pics on Home Page Post by: mrbones on October 14, 2004, 02:20:40 PM The pics are actually pulled from the attachments directory. They have to be reformatted to the right size and added to the random picture directory within the site so they are shown on the home page.
I know the current ones are getting old so I'll try and grab some more and post them. There's 286 in there now so it does take awhile for them to cycle through. go to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx on the page that opens about half way down on the far right side click on and open "ImageResizer.exe" After you do you should be able to right click your mouse on any open photo and choose "resize picture" and resize it.
