Events are starting to shape up for our labor day feature weekend.

As it stands right now, on Saturday we are looking to have a Poker Run , many kids events, a saturday night mx race on our 1.3 mile long, new national calibre mx track (ran by the guys from Amp-Xtreme), mud races, a night time pot luck bbq, a saturday night band.

Sunday, we will be continuing to have events, the feature event on Sunday will be a Drag Race.

During the whole weekend, you can ride the park, we have 3 mx tracks, a drag strip, miles (just under 400 acres) of one and 2 way trails, atv play areas, an obstacle course, mud pits...we have something for everyone.

Night riding is allowed.

On Saturday we have booked a live broadcast to be put on by the largest country radio station in the area.

Come out and meet old and new friends, this is like an old time atvfl ride, where you knew everyone by their screen names.

All this for $30 for the whole weekend. Most events are included with admission. The poker run and some of the more serious money races have a seperate entry fee.  Our intermediate and beginner tracks are included in the entry fee, the only section of the park you pay extra to use, is the new national style mx track.

This will be my second time at the Plex.  We went last feature weekend and I can not see missing another.  We had so much fun there.  No rules other than be courteous to others.  They allow night riding (unescorted)  even at 3am!  Come and go as you please!  Paul I cant wait to get my family back up there.

Don't you worry though I will bring my camera and post some pics for you.  This way you can see that this place is the real thing!  I know fuel prices, oh and they are 20,000 miles away from me......... 

I love the place after visiting 2 weeks ago. But, your 3.5 hour drive is nothing compared to those folks in east central or south florida. They've twice the drive which is one day travel up and another day traveling back on a 3-day weekend.

How is it for just trail riding with kids?

Here is something I posted on floridaatv after our first visit

My daughter is only 8 years old.  I bought her first quad from Greenmachine.  My daughter hated the quad and everything about it.  Not the quad but the whole riding experience.  (greenmachine actually bought it back a few months later   ;D ) Anyhow we then bought the wife a kfx700 so my wife could put her on the back.  Once a again she hated it and did not want to ride.  She would actually cry.  So then we sold it then bought a Outlander Max800 with the two seats.  We just knew this would be the answer. WRONG.  Ok so then we sold that and bought the new RZR.  This will do the trick.  WRONG, we still hear I do not want to ride.  THIS WEEKEND FINALLY we get her to go out in the RZR although she was sort of crying again.  After she got back she ran in the the 5th wheel and told her mom how she enjoyed it.  The rest of the weekend she would ask us when we were going out so she could go with us.  Everytime she came back and would not quit talking about it.
I finally figured it out.  It was not the equipment that she was riding but the place she was riding it.  Even on the way home she was recalling things we did out on the trails and tracks.

This is truly an environment for the family not just the fathers!!

I think the motoplex is about the best riding in the state and the people there are great as well. I have had a blast everytime I have gone there, even more fun than the trips I have made to Durhamtown and only 1/3 the travel time. I'll be there!
