i just took the head of my motor out and one of the valves well the thing that goes on top of the motor just popt out and the bike has no comprestion and it didnt turn on do u think it is the valve that i have to fix and thats it or do u think it is somthing a lil biger and the bike is a honda 250x year 91

Do you have any pics?

Yes, an open valve will cause the condition you described.

I think maybe if you have no idea what you are doing...you shouldn't be working on the head with out a service manual.....start with something easy....like an oil change...or carb cleaning....maybe tire pressure....JK

lol yea i check the tire presure already lol jk lol like im not doing it by myself my friend and his dad who knows about the bike is helping me but like do u think it might be that valve

Take pictures of the engine, and what you've removed so far.


But, a messed up valve would cause the bike to not turn over? my warrior has a dinged up valve, and it still runs like a beast.

If a valve is stuck open ypu will have no compression and it won't start/run.

it sounds to me like you broke the cam chain. if its an overhead cam, turn the cam over and see if the chain is broken.

You are not giving enough intelligent information to be helped. There are tons of people on here that can and are able to help. Take the word LIKE out of your vocabulary and be descriptive.
