A Jacksonville teen and a 9-year-old boy are both badly injured after two ATV accidents this weekend in Baker County.

The Florida Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Matthew Williams was riding off Cow Pen Road around 3:00 Sunday afternoon when he lost control, fell off, and was crushed by the ATV.

He was flown to Shands Jacksonville, where he's in critical condition.

Meanwhile, a 9 year old boy is also in critical condition after a separate ATV accident later that afternoon.

William Coburn was riding with 26 year old Nathaniel Ryan when they lost control and hit a tree on private property off Crews Road.

An alcohol test on Ryan is pending.  The FHP says charges are also pending.

That SUCKS!

Especially the young one. I hate to hear things like that. Alcohol and probably no helmets.
