Title: FTR Post by: duroc825 on June 17, 2008, 07:43:24 PM The FTR is asking for our "thoughts" in their Harescramble section. Don't be afraid to let them know what you think. We've got nothing to lose if we respond sensibly.
Title: Re: FTR Post by: mudnuri on August 06, 2008, 07:54:21 PM You are right. Things depend on the members for sure. GNCC is a business and Racer Productions hires many to work for them. FTR and it's clubs are made up of volunteers like myself. I am just the same as you reading this. In fact the only reason I joined FTR was to have a voice I could take to the state and demand riding areas be opened. I had no idea where I would be 4 years later. Amanda F from SQRA and served as the QS chairman, helped see to it I made this position on the EC. She was the biggest support and I don't think I thanked her enough for all the help. If you read this Amanda-THANK YOU FOR HELPING GET A QUADDER ELECTED ON THE EC!!
We have area directors now as well. Voting time is coming up and if you want to run for an area, PLEASE throw your hat into the ring. Bring your thick skin suit too because as soon as your "somebody" no one wants to be your friend! LOL!! Seriously, I wanted to share some news about the local clubs and the dedication they are continuing to show despite the current quad situation. I posted this on another site: I just confirmed three more clubs that will have pee-wee quad races! Tallahassee Trail Riders!! TTR. Suncoast Trail Blazers!! This is Spectec's, aka Paul! club!! My club, SEFTR will also do the same! I am sure there will MANY clubs, if not all, that do the same thing. As they announce it, I will advertise it!! Thank you River City Dirt Riders for taking the lead on this for the kids!! Title: Re: FTR Post by: jocolo on November 12, 2008, 07:42:48 PM the course are pretty fun with the exception of chipley wich was way too dusty,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,also my daugther was bitten by the racing bug but as of right now there's no junior quads for the next 2 races HS5 or HS6, which sucks, I race VET C on Sundays and am thinking of doing VET C on my wife's quads Z400, we'll see.
We do need to get more quads out there to suport the HS quad series |
