Lets start the list for the Okeechobee Mudfest in August.  Need names & numbers if you want.  The event will be August 8th-10th.  We can all meet up in Okeechobee somewhere and caravan in.  Make a big circle like someone suggested and have a big campfire.

good deal. im in the process of snorkeling my brute right now. would have finished yesterday but got heat sick really bad. prob wont be drivin down into many lakes or rivers, but if i come across some deep water on the trails i wont have to worry about crossing them

and i was thinkin, theres a gas station right along SR 70, pretty sure its a BP, thats a few miles from the entrance. thatd be a good place to meet up? i think i have the address stored in my gps if anyone needs one

is evereyone camping the whole weekend?    if i can make it ,  I AM! my honda isnt scared to get dirty.  just cant go deep. no snorkel, yet.

It's a BP and I believe it has a Subway in it too. Its usually too packed to park though so if your going to meet up, do it in the gravel parking lot beside it. It's big enough to be a good meeting place. And that gas station is only a 1/2 mile form the gate at most.

I used to go Fri, Sat, and Sun but now I just go Fri, Sat, and leave Sunday morning. It's too crowded trying to get out Sunday after the sun comes up and I only live 45 minutes away.

we stay the whole weekend. usually leave around 3 or 4am friday morning and get there when the line isnt too bad before the gate opens..ride all day friday and saturday, clean up saturday night, sunday we just get up and ride out to the mudholes and watch the trucks play. too much of a pain to get all wet and muddy then try to clean up and drive home.


works for me. anyone know about what time they want to meet up? earlier the better in my book. earlier = shorter lines = better camp spot and more time to ride

Is that the gas station just west of Mudfest on SR 70 or just east ?  I'm pretty sure you are talking about the one that is just east.....wanted to make sure though....I say we meet there Friday morning really early.  That okay with everyone ?

With the popularity of it now, it'll be hard to get a good spot anywhere near the whole. I got there 9am Friday last February and the place was packed. I was amazed they kept letting everyone in all day saturday. I'll meet up whenever, I'll have a bunch of friends with me.

We don't need to camp by the mudhole though.  We could all camp a little further out.  We have our bikes to get to the mudhole  :)

Any of you guys live near Melbourne? I might head out to Grant this weekend when I get my new bike. If not this weekend, we should defanatley plan an outing before we meet at Mudfest.

I have a buddy that talk to the sherrifs out there and they told him anything east of the powerlines is legal because a motorcycle club owns it (the one that hold the pumpkin run and rabbitt run).

I'll be comming from the East from Vero Beach. If anyone would like to meet before the BP station we usually stop in Ft. Peirce right off I-95 to get our drinks and stuff. I'm 15-20 minutes from Ft. Pierce so it'll be no biggie if anyone want to follow from even Vero or something.

Ya I was thinking early like 5 or 6 as well.  I would like to beat the lines.  I'd rather get in and take a nap then get there late and wait in a long @$$ line.  I  also think we should came near the back.  I hate all the traffic and people zooming by.

We always camp around the same spot every year. Down the first main road heading south towards the mudhole. I'd like to camp near the TGW trucks this year because it's alot more open and the parties are still good.

if we get there around 5 or 6, gates open at 8, they didnt start checkin people in till about 9 or 9:30 last time, we werent too far back in line but we had about a 45 min wait in line and got to our spots around 10:30. i know i wouldnt be able to sleep hearin everyone tear it up  ;D

i dont know if yall were at C&R, but i got a camping spot right next to the construction development truck. def cool watchin them unload and run the truck alittle

I can definitely stop by and show you how to play beer pong.  My first lesson is free too.  Cuz I'm a nice guy.

we just got a new tractor and lowboy to pull the 2 trucks we're building for my brothers...85 chity chevy 1500 on 2.5 tom with boggers...and 88 bronco on same setup. so we will be rollin deep. im gonna e-mail the mudfest people to see if they can do a tug-a-war at night or somthing to keep people somewhat entertained since no night riding

No typo, but if your scared of loosing we can just play for braggin rights until February  ;) lol

how much does it cost to build a rig like yours? and a tugawar is a real good idea. itll give us something else to do other than watch the drunk chicks wrestle around  :D

Alright, new topic, lol. How far do some of you guys drive for Mudfest? I've met the guys from Jersey a few times out there. They are pretty cool.

so about 14,000.00 and we did all labor and fabbed all of our our hangers,shackles, traction bars, and we flipped our hubs instead of shortening the front, and the motor we took to get it bored out and put it together ourselves.

I just talked to someone saying they were still biulding that MonsterBog thing right next to mudfest. It's litterally the plot of land west of mudfest.

good deal! im not in a build right now, i have 2 more years of college and i have a 02 ext dodge dakota with 150k on it right now. im guna drive it thru the rest of college then after i get a job its goin big. im guna build a 5.9 myself and install it, but im not much of a suspension guy yet. still learning how to do all that, all the tricks and all. havent decided if i want to go 2.5 tons yet or just 1 ton axles. learnin toward 1 ton and around 10-12in of lift with 40-46in tractor tires or something but really havent made my mind yet. been talkin to guys on here with big rigs tryin to get an idea of the build cost


i wanted to go to that but they pushed it back. its far for me anyways, ill just wait for mudfest.

They have bright bikes so when they get stuck we can find them easily.  I am coming from Ocala, a little less than 2 hours

I thought the monsterbog was west of mudfest but on the other side of SR70

And according to their website....hot showers and swimming hole.....I know mudfest don't have that yet.  Both of these events needs to be run like Muddigras was run....they had their chit together

hey is mud fest for august cancled???

It was canceled due to an insurance drop, and now its back on, but extremely expensive ($40/day and $100/weekend).  Most folks think they raised the price so much to limit attendance.  I think its going to do the trick...most folks don't want to spend that much and are going to MISSION: MUD (http://www.atvflorida.com/forum/index.php/topic,34443.0.html (http://www.atvflorida.com/forum/index.php/topic,34443.0.html)) instead.

You don't have to post the same thing in every topic LOL.....we all see it dont worry.

Yea, sorry....I did get a bit carried away...just wanted to make sure everyone got their eyes on it.

ATVS GONE WILD^TM (website is www.atvsgonewildonline.com (http://www.atvsgonewildonline.com)) is the name under which my company (Ridin Dirty Motorsports) will be producing videos featuring extreme ATV action.  We basically go around filming events and will ultimately put together videos with clips from those events.  MISSION: MUD is an event we are actually organizing and managing ourselves.

what else does Ridin Dirty Motorsports do and where is it based out of ?  I'd like to get some more information. 

We are based out of West Palm Beach, FL.  The videos are our primary product, but we also make radiator relocate kits for the Kawi Brute's (if you go to eBay and search for "Brute Force Radiator", you will see the product) and will soon be making a kit for the Popo Sportsman.  Everything (along with T-Shirts and Stickers) will be available via our site in the coming weeks).
