Title: keeners machine shop in west palm

I have the cylnder off a z400 that ian trying to build for my daughter.I called them about boreing it out and putting in my sleeve. This is a Wisco complete kit.<440> .The guy on phone said 100 bucks with my sleeve,I brought it down on friday and the guy behind the counter inspected it.The firts clue i should have seen was how he looked at it.like it was from mars,he said he hd done many 440 kits.I left it there and called on tuesday he said to busy he will do it on thursday.so i said ok.wednesday i get call he said it was all done,Iasked for total price  he said 200 bucks IT DOUBLED.i said no way i had estimate for 100 he said it wasnt a stock sleeve. hmmmstock kawasaki sleeve??I aked for a manager he said that they all are managers and to come down so we could talk. next day i did ,he then said we will splitt diff and i said no.so on monday ill have to go down to court house to post a bond for it..i wonder what he will say after that..but just for last ditch effort i was told DAVE was the owner first stop there and if he wont listen next stop court house.BE CAREFULL  with this company, stay awaytrying to ripp me off,ill pst follow up after monday,,,,,,,,bluesman >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Well how did it go. I have had a bad experience with them in the past.

sry reply took so long.... i was talked into paying 150....wtf paid it and will never go back... be warned

Cast iron sleeve in a Z400 cylinder is asking for problems. You have sent the cylinder to Millenium and had it bored and re nikasiled. A lot of people who have used the "cheap" 440 iron sleeves in their DRZ400's have had reliability issues. Going from nikasil to an iron liner sent the technology of your cylinder back by 30 years.

i agree both of my 30 year old cars are still running fine.. some times old school is the best school,,, thx man for input
